[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri

"This change brings them in line with other spectres who use Righteous Fire."

as said in the patchnotes, I really think the damage will be lowered to that of Burned Miscreation. It would be strange if they left it stronger than others.

Since Wickerman has been nerfed, but Vanguards are basically the same why not replace Wickerman with another fire based Spectre? The scorching ray totems still debuff enemies, so you could use Vanguard + Solar Guards / Flame Sentinels / Flame Golem + EE. Could have an issue with sockets but new unique ring + rare mods might help.

I have a feeling Wickerman has gone the way of Burned Miscreation...

Can't play SG with TV with same gem setup. ( used swift afflication and burning dmg to max TV dmg but these do not effect SG ( the have no burning and no damage over time).
Also 2 different gem setups for spectres is to much in my opinion.

What about having TV on a seperate setup? (maybe with one of the new shaped/elder rares it could be 5-6l too, if you get lucky)

In my setup I have to use all sockets for 1 setup. So no place for this. Perhaps with the new 5l ring its possible.
Hi! I was going to play spectres for the first time tomorrow, and I have some questions about fps with this build. Currently, I am playing on a laptop and have huge fps drop for things like molten balls and just normal fire particles. I played some rf and got little performance issues with rf but it was totally playable. How does this build in this department? Especially TV
In mayhem I put 1 solar guard in with 1 wickerman and 2 TV for mapping (no min-max purpose, I just liked to mix them up so that I can switch to full solar guard or full TV or wickerman whenever I need) and found no problem with clearspeed without GMP or Spell Echo. It is sure not a match for "correct" gem link for solar guard but I mean it's okay if you're lazy to swap gems. Same goes for TVs, you can use solar guard gem link with TVs and they can still destroy any normal boss you come across. So if you're lazy to swap gem, just stick with either gem link and bear a little "less efficiency"

No problem on my potato notebook when I was playing at my parent's house (It did crash here and there but it crashed even when I played sunder so that's that). I think you will get more problem with RF from Wicker Man.

Alright, thanks for the info. Can't wait for the league start
Was wanting to run this as a league started but idk how hard the nerfs will hit it. Think its still a viable start or?

Yes.

WM nerf could be hard, but TV "nerf" (if it is) is acceptable. If things go like most people in this post expected, TV will still melt guardians and shapers exactly like before. The difference is only clear speed (might be with or without WM).

And, if things go the worst way, you still don't need to reroll. Just recolor your armor and use solar guards, which is completely unaffected by any changes, and they will crush t1-t15 maps like they have been doing.

I would recommend this build as starter, given that vaal pact was nerfed/slayer got changed so some popular attacker/caster builds might face some problems.

Build looks perfectly fine though we may need to swap wickers for something else depending on the severity of their nerf. But even if this build is somehow absolutely gutted you level as srs anyway and can just as easily transition into a number of other good builds.
