You run a lot of + Crit stuff, but have Controlled Destruction on Spark. What gives?

" Controlled Destruction only reduces your crit chance by 100%, it doesn't make you unable to crit. For example, if you have a weapon that gives you 130% spell crit chance and you run Controlled Desctruction, you will only get +30% spell crit chance. |

" I would say 3 spark projectiles is better for clear speed and 40% damage is better for bosses but it kinda depends also on your damage... the best thing is always to just try it out. " I checked out your profile... it looks decent maybe a bit lacking of attack&cast speed for clearing. " If I am not mistaken the reduced crit chance by 100% is for the gems linked to it. So in our case ... the spark spell has a basic crit chance of 6% and this is the value your total crit chance will be reduced. Hey, Love the build - thank you for posting. Really makes maps quick, and people are always impressed by the spark spread whenever i do master rotations haha.
Just wanted to say - since I had trouble getting the curse on hit to happen from herald before i had all the extra crit, i used an orb of storms to apply curses instead while getting to endgame. i've found that this is a good strategy to use if you really want to clear the boss. I also use a 4 link flame totem with culling strike since it benefits so much from all the elemental damage we get and triggers EE in our favor. gets something like 35k DPS with all charges up. Unfortunately EE is kinda useless for us because inevitable jugdement set the enemied resistance no mater what to 0 when we crit. Normally with power charges etc our crit chance should be really high. Have you thought about using She's Mirror? The 1-10 damage makes clearing feel a lot smoother for me. I also varies the set up a bit and did MoM using the Covenant linked to spark. I will sustain my Health with vinktars and atziri.

" Ah, I forgot about that part of the Ascendancy. The totem is really nice and plays two roles - provides quick curse-immune damage when fighting against mobs in general, in particular Harbingers, and it serves as a distraction against bosses - which can be really nice when fighting things like T11 Wasteland Voll who wastes a good 4-5 seconds charging into it. " Actually yes... I thought about this item. I discussed with another user the possibilty to use a vaal breach gem in combination with esh mirror to kill bosses. Maybe you wanna try it out and let my know your experience. The covenant seems to be a viable option but 6 linked it is pretty expensive. can you solo uber lab, i die 5 time at last 1/3 hp boss, he just 1 hit me event my gear pretty good :(
