Super super excited to try this build out.

After release of patch notes ascendancy etc. do you still go all fire golems? or do you go 1-1-3(+) golems to pick up the 20+ increased damage and 20+ increased golem damage and other perks?

I know the build is still being worked on but cheers and good luck!
How did u craft the helmet (would be nice to add in "how to craft" section)...or did u found/buy it with the 3 minion speccs?

If bought...how much did u pay?

Animate Guardians curse is tied to players curse amount. If player has Temporal Chains with Blasphemy in area when Animate Guardian hits enemy, the Elemental Weakness from AG gets immediately overriden with Temporal Chains. However if player has extra curse node, both curses will coexist. The wiki is kinda misleading in this information.

Hello and thanks for support ^^

All Flame Golems is still best combo as they will all be attacking all the time and their main job is to clear maps. Tukohama Vanguards deal more damage to bosses than any mix of Golems could, and the extra Golems would just eat gem sockets / Golem numbers. It's best to use different minions for different roles and take only best in class for both purposes.

Biggest change anymore is to decide if CWDT link should have :
1) CWDT 20 -> Immortal Call 20
2) CWDT 1 -> Phase Run 3
Build is now 95% done and will receive just some tweaking tomorrow to be complete ;)

Hi :)

I bought the helmet with about 1 ex. Minion life is ok to drop, as Soul Weaver gives Specters 100% increased life (with no minion life helmet costs around 20c). With Occultist the minion life becomes more important for high tier boss fights if wanting to switch Ascendancy.

I will add crafting guide later. Haven't crafted one yet, but should follow basic crafting rules from my other crafting guides.

For me it will be Phase Run i think ... at least until ~T10/T11 ... than maybe the other one ... probably leveling CWDT 20/Immortal Call 20 in second weapon inactive set.

I saw that also, but I think it has more to do with melee based Specters and minions as they specified "attacks". I have tried multiple melee based minions earlier (Stone Golems, Kitavas Heralds, Skeletons) and they hit like a truck but are dumb as a rock. This could be similar as "Aggressive AI" for golems but now patched to melee minions?

If you're talking about elementalist the buff is for each golems, not each type. So you get buff for each number of golems you've summoned regardless of type.

I actually decided to go with CWDT 1 -> Convocation 1. Convocation does about same job as both Phase Run and Immortal Call as it draws minion near you adding more targets and meatshield to block physical hits. The new node dropping cooldown to 4 second actually makes it useful skill now.

So it seems to be related to attacking minions and not casting. I doubt it will have much effect on Tukohama Vanguards or Golems.

Yep, if taking Elementalist the buff for each golem affect only you and does not care about Golem types. Primordial Harmonies add damage from each Golem type, but mixing drops the number of actively attacking Golems so the benefit is small.

Hey :)

Golems don't get many bonuses from auras. Anger adds only small amount of damage and only really useful aura is haste which gives them some speed, but they have cooldown in skills, so they still cant cast faster than cooldown lets them.

Curses take less mana and offer greater benefits to both caster and minions. Especially if going Occultist triple-quad cursing is real option as you can curse hexproof enemies. Nice mix would be :

Defensive
- Temporal chains (Slow)
- Enfeeble (Less damage taken, bonus curse if going quad-curse)

Offensive
- Ele Weak from Animate Guardian (Add damage)

Both
- Proj Weak (Adds damage and knockback)

When do you re-spec into occultist? Do you have to achieve a certain level or is it based on your gear?


Also, if you want to go elementalist instead of necro what would be the order with the ascendancy points?

Nice guide will probably do it as a league starter.
