An Item Filter for the Discerning Exile | Ancestors Release | Spectre Filter Alpha

Adjusted Whetstones and Armourer's Scraps to use the text colors of good implicit weapons and (near, 98%+) perfect base defence roll on weapons and armours respectively.

Adjusted the Low Accessories Falloff and Mid Accessories Falloff to 68 (from 45) and 82 (from 100) respectively. This only affects Rare accessories.

Sorted the new div cards into their respective areas (they had Catchall highlights for text, sound, icon, etc).

Edit: Here's a preview image of Divination Cards from Filterblast (not 1:1 but pretty close). Card rewards are shown through the text color. Cards rewarding Uniques have dim to bright orange text, gems have blue-green text, currency is yellow, jewels are blue, item bases are dim gray to bright gray (white is 6L), red text is a "challenge" reward like Altered Perception offering Simulacrum, etc. Card stack size is shown through the border color (yellow and orange borders are estimated to be "reasonable" farms, with pink being a single card stack turn in). Background is a mix of the two plus user tweaks (when customization is in you'll be able to move around what cards get what backgrounds, the other stuff is set but this would allow prioritizing cards by build which could be nifty).

Edit: Also changed the Ruthless filter to NOT use Minimal anymore, the in-built transparency and size adjustments are more accurate anyway in Spectre.

Tonight is the night for Console launch :D
I'll try to use the Spectre-version to see how that is working for me (I might customize it a bit and bump up the default sizes compared to PC) and get back with some feedback (❁´◡`❁)

I just put up the PS and Xbox versions which have larger base sizes (+4 to all) and modifier sizes (for Outdated and Undesirable items this is from -8/-4 to -6/-3) so that should help out there. You can't really go much larger without items hitting the top size and losing any relative sizing.

There's no filterblast interface atm (I still have one internally) but I think you can follow the link at the top of the filter file to reach that specific preset with the interface and work from there. But again it's not setup fully so it's laggy and some options probably do nothing lol.

I'm excited to know what you think!

Naturally, the console versions won't work until the league launches.

I have removed the old Spirit PS and Xbox versions, and will be removing Spirit Prebuilt and Lite in around a week (copy the contents into a new filter if you want to use them after that point). Spirit Default Gearing will disappear probably before next league's launch.

I'll give Spectre its own thread at some point, likely when it's feature complete (full unique sorting, affix filtering, filterblast UI, etc).

GLHF everyone!

Haven't started yet (silly thing like 'work' is getting in the way :p) but I was looking through the FilterBlade preview for Spectre to get a feel for the colours. However it was not clear to me if/how the Chaos vendor recipe would show.
Since the leauge mechanic itself doesn't seem to be that rewarding with currencies early on, and I only play SSF, doing those recipes at league start is a nice way to get some currency.

Is there an easy/simple way to tell if a rare item is usable in the Chaos (or Regal) recipe?

Just a note, Filterblade is Neversink's site, Filterblast is Dissolator's site.

I've waffled back and forth on whether to include a dedicated chaos/regal recipe. I personally haven't had an issue just grabbing from updated rare bases that I'm not going to use, but I'm only really doing that for bosses that drop a bunch of rares.

Also do keep in mind the preview isn't 1:1 with in-game, filterblast assumes a minimum base defence roll and transparency is cleaner in game.

I'll think about how I can do a chaos/regal recipe highlight without disrupting other filtering. If I just show outdated rares there would be too many false positives for my liking. Maybe a minimap icon that recipe items get when hidden...?

Oh, I must have gotten confused about the different filter sites! I used the link that was in the filter.

A minimap icon is possible, but it might clutter the screen too much. I have no idea on how to properly indicate it...

Yeah I'll have to explore some options, think outright visibility or a beam effect would be a bit in the way of regular filtering, minimap icons might be less intrusive.

Though the chaos/regal recipes are flexible/vague anyway, you can use two 1H weapons or a single 2H (I prefer one 2h even if it's more inventory slots sometimes) and as long as the iLvl range is right it doesn't care about drop level or item base, just that you get an item for each equipment slot.

I'll think on this, but first you should try and see if the filter offers enough rares to do the recipe as is. You might need to check the floor after a loot explosion in maps to get low end rare accessories and some extra rares to fill out your inventory, iirc there are breakpoints for filtering at 68, 75, and 82 though there are many sections which use more stepped progression.

Edit: I'm playing through from Act VI to Maps with some slight changes, including longer 4L highlighting (4Ls are given extra priority until maps) and adjusted some accessories between low/mid/high (more evenly distributed and made considerations for HC and Ruthless). I'll update some time later on, will be AFK later on today.
