In maps I have no problem at all killing the mobs fast and efficient and even T15 map bosses quiet fast and safe. I already farmed a lot of currency for my items and am LvL 91 now. Unfortunately, I couldn’t kill Elder on a T10 map today. I died to almost every attack of him, I think the damage was ok.

I am now thinking of either continue leveling until 95 or something or rerolling a boss killer, e.g. molten strike. Am I doing anything wrong with items equipped or is it just me dying to the boss mechanics? My plan was to clear all content with my wander.

Killed Elder now but still dying to random rare mobs in shaped vault and vault boss (1 hit). I have the feeling that my single target dmg is not good enough. Should I change rings to opal rings? Or amulet?

In terms of items, I know you mentioned that flat ele dmg is needed as well. I've sort of hit a plateau where I can survive certain maps, but others im a glass cannon. Let's see:

For dps and survivability:

Replace rats nest with starkonja or rare that gives life, rat's nest gives sick tooltip dps because of silly attackspeed, but other than that it does not do that much.
Your amulet lacks flat lightning, ele % (super important) and crit multi and life.
Ring lack the same as amulet minus the multi. Use rare gloves with life or tombfist (if u got the money) then use abyss jewels in said fists that give + life.

Abyss jewels with +flat life add a ton of survivability too.

Damn now I'm really confused...

I played around in PoB (still trying to figure the thing out)...and with the items loaded, it poses around 9.6k dps for Kinetic blast. In game with no buffs on, it shows 11.6k. So with me playing around with replacement gear as suggested, I replace gloves with gripped ones which has +accuracy and +attack speed, replace my amu with crit multi, flat lightning dmg and assigning an opal ring which gives 25% ele dmg and flat lightning. My dps in PoB now drops to 5.6k....why :S? The investment for the aforementioned gear would be around 50-60c...and I still get a drop of 4k dps? Maybe i'm doing something wrong in PoB, but I literally crafted the items in the tool of what is on sale for comparison...and it still comes out significantly lower. Am I looking at it in the wrong way that i'm focussing on tooltip dps?

A wander takes heavy investment to be effective and I'm going to be honest with you and say that your gear is bad and it's missing lots of stuff so you can't really expect your damage or survivabilty to be good. Also, everything is mentioned in the guide in terms of increasing damage or survivabilty but I guess I'll give your a run down.

In terms of damage:

- Your gems are not level 20 and a lot of them are not 20 quality. You should at least get your gems to level 20 before looking at DPS and all.
- You do not have Empower linked to your Wrath.
- You do not have a Dying Sun (which you should definitely save up for before worrying about opal rings and such)
- You're on a 5 link. A 6 link would add 50% more damage.
- Your jewellery is terrible. If you are running Piscator's, YOU NEED high flat damage on all your jewellery.
- You lack a lot more. Go read the guide thoroughly because it contains all information.
- The boot enchant also increases damage by a lot but you should worry about that later.

In terms of survivability:

- You have not picked up the flasks nodes which boost the evasion granted from your flasks by a lot.
- You're running a Quicksilver instead of a Jade Flask.
- Your gear has low life rolls.

There is a lot more to improve. Just read the guide slowly and properly and everything you need is there. Good Luck!

It's alright but with good abyss jewels this league, Piscator's is almost always BiS.

For those interested in this build and want to see it in action. I'm going to stream for a bit now.

Dumpster. Piscators is BiS and very cheap. If you are going rare wand, which there is no reason with abyss jewels, you want pure ele rolls.

The Perfect Abyss Jewel would have following stat's
Base Searching Eye:

2x T1 Added Lightning to Attack's roll's
1x T1 Life roll
1x Crit. Multi Roll or Increased Attack Speed if Crit. recently

Added Cold or Fire are ok but far from competitive compared to the mentioned Stat's
Elemental Pen. is also not really good.

Flat Accuracy, which can roll up to 240 on Jewel's might be an option if you can't get it on gear.
There are some that give you a buff on kill but i wouldn't aim for those, since you'd rather want the DPS against something that live's longer than 4 sec. (the duration of "recently")

Doesn't Matter if you are using a Piscator or a good Rare Wand.

Also your Rare Wand Blight Scratch is in fact better than a Piscator, so keep it!
You can even mess around with the Passive Node "Tempest Blast"
