Can we keep Lycosidae shield for endgame , or it's better to get a rare shield ?

A Rare is better in term's of defense, but you can make it work with lyco no problem.

Yeah a friend and i had that thought too, in term's of Life and DPS most def. better than a Starkonja!
However, no evasion, so loss of defense and movement speed.

Although the new Abyss Item's, wether it's the rare's or the unique's offer a massive increase of DPS, i recommend to not go full ham on those, as they require a payoff, in terms of loss of defense/ movement speed and/or gem socket's.

Swapping out Glove's for Thunderfist's is a good idea, propably going to do that on my char.
but everything else, is gimping the Build, not to say that it's impossible to make it work ;)

Yet i simply love the defensive mechanic of the build and since it work's out really, really good, i don't want to ditch that for some "ohh new item's, uhhh more dps".

Seriously, do you guys use Blood rage for mapping? I was dying a lot before level 90 and struggling to level up, until i decide not to use Blood rage (except for boss) and I leveled to level 91 smoothly. 5k life, using bisco at level 91, no opal/diamond ring yet.


I recently dropped my Adrenaline flask to run both Warding and Reflexes. I dropped Jade flask for Diamond + Stibnite. This setup gives more DPS but less Evasion (and less Movement Speed)

So I feel the extra 3 frenzy charges really help make up the movespeed, I keep it on all the time.
Note that I do NOT use vaal pact. I've tried VP/Blood Rage in past, and I do agree that it really hurts you/makes you die considerably more; losing 4% of your life per second is a lot. Try dropping VP and testing it out, with your regen, you are instead only losing about 1% of your life instead - it's barely noticeable.

Personally, I feel the AoE clearspeed of this build is already more than plenty. We want to scale out single-target to maximum, especially with all the new bossing this league (Liches, Elder, Guardians, Shaper, Etc.)

While a new elder glove with Faster Attacks or 3.5% crit is nice, they only effect your KB/AoE.I am already 1-shotting entire packs on Tier 16 maps... I don't see any reason I need more AoE clear.

I personally rather use a glove at endgame that provides bonus to both KB and Barrage, like a Gripped Glove, Oskarm, or 2-socket Tombfist.

I think this 2 socket Lightpoacher is even stronger than perfect roll Rat's Nest with same enchant. With 4-mod flat dmg gems it seems to give me 5-10% more dps. Is this just from not enough flat dmg elsewhere?


As OP mentioned above, I do not think Lightpoacher is worth using on this build. The Spirit Burst portion of the helm is completely wasted, as it is Physical damage (which we don't scale) - so while it may look cool, it's pretty pointless. Also losing 800+ evasion is considerable defense/speed decrease.

You do gain 2 Abyss sockets, which is nice; however, I feel using the new Tombfist gloves or even the Bubonic Trail boots are better use of a slot.

I'm using Oskarm unique gloves and I'm pretty sure I don't really need Curse on Hit Assassin's Mark anymore.

I'm wondering if I should spec some Skillpoints into more power charges for more damage per power charges?


I like the idea of using Oskarm; I may run some tests tonight between an Oskarm VS 2-Socket Tomfist with "average" +Flat jewels (around 70-80 flat elemental) to compare.

Picking up more power charges is not worth it at all. 2 skill points is better put into another jewel socket; you can pick up several on the tree for 2 skill points, and some for 3 skill points. Abyss jewels are stupidly OP and every additional jewel you can fit into your build will help a ton.

Hey man, loving the build for 3.1 . Got my qotf 6 linked but having trouble getting the colors. What method at the table were you using. 2 blues or 3? Tried both and have been through about 2000 chrome probably
Could use some suggestions on upgrade.. A new shield perhaps? Maybe essence/elder gloves. Not really sure where to go from here.

1. Your Conqueror's Potency jewel is of "no use" because you do not have the full Flask cluster yet. Either replace the jewel by another jewel or respec to take the Flask cluster to get above 50% flask effectiveness (which pushes Dying sun to 3 proj).
If you chose to respec, remove Crackling Speed and the point before or Wandslinger and the point before.

2. Considering your low HP pool, you could consider this: I think you should go for a Stibnite of Reflexes rather than adrenaline. It might give you less movement speed but more survivability.

3. Obvious but go for lvl 21 / 23% qual gems.

4. Essence/shaper craft gloves with 3.5% criticial strike chance for KB if you feel you're not critting enough on packs.

5. Go for Brinerot flag in offhand to sustain power charges on bosses. Can even have an orb of storms curse on hit [Insert your prefered curse] in it.

Other than that, you're pretty much done with the build. You need some levels to pump your life up and grab jewel slots but that's about it I believe.
