Can rare mobs spawn with reflection mods?

The wiki says that they can but it also says that in 3.1.0 "Damage reflection mods on rare monsters have been removed from the game."

hello everyone.
my question is about DIVINE FLESH Keystone.

I have 75 ALL resistances and some stack
20% Reduced elemental damage taken.
30% LESS elemental damage taken.

10 000 life
0 Energy shield

what happens if i choose to take Divine flesh Keystone.

I know that I reach 85 chaos resistances and get a better chaos damage reduction.

But Do i take more damage from elemental damage in the end ? how does it work ?

thank you

Well, your modifiers give you a net 86% reduction of Elemental damage taken. If you take Divine Flesh and get 85% Chaos resistance, you'll take half of Elemental damage as Chaos, ending up with an effective 85.5% Elemental damage reduction. So you take very slightly more damage from Elemental damage sources, but you get a lot of Chaos resistance in exchange. Note that Divine Flesh make the "enemies Poison on hit" map mod much nastier, so make sure to take the upgraded Shakari pantheon power if you haven't already.

That note refers to the old damage reflection mods, which worked like the map reflection mod (or possibly the even older one, which projected an aura that granted damage reflection to nearby monsters). The modern versions are "Physical Thorns" and "Elemental Thorns", which reflect damage on a one-second cooldown. Monsters with these mods have a very conspicuous "force field" effect, so you should be able to spot them in advance, although it's probably pretty easy to miss them in the chaos of a Delve encounter.

On a 10K ele hit received:

WITHOUT KEYSTONE:
10000
*0.25=2500
*0.8=2000
*0.7=1400 final damage taken (total)
86% total damage mitigated

WITH KEYSTONE:
5000
*0.25=1250
*0.8=1000
*0.7=700 final damage taken (ele)
5000
*0.15=750 final damage taken (chaos)
700+750=1450 final damage taken (ele+chaos)
85.5% total damage mitigated

The unique 'Xirgil's Crank' has the feature '20% chance for Energy Shield Recharge to start when you Block'. Assuming my energy shield recharge did not get interrupted before: When I block while having Xirgil's Crank equipped, will I have a 20% chance that my energy shield recharge is not interrupted by damage for 4s afterwards, when I have the keystone 'Wicked Ward' allocated?
So in this 4s period, I could also trigger the Xirgil's effect to get it for 4s after ... .

Is there another way to 'force' a block then using 'Vaal Breach'?

OK thank you.

With the same stats, and assuming the hit is cold damage only:
WITHOUT KEYSTONE: 100-(100*0.5*0.8*0.7)=72% mitigated
WITH KEYSTONE: 100-(50*0.5*0.8*0.7)-(50*0.15)=78.5% mitigated

Are explosions from different sources (in this care different items) like e.g. this sword implict

and for exaple body chest explosion mod stack up?
Question about impale and minions

lets say i have the swift skewering notable that grants -10% of total physical damage reduction against impaled hits

If i hit a monster with an impaled attack, and it procs that notable, do my minions also receive the enemies negative phys reduction if they impale as well?

Thanks in advance

Yes they do. The -PDR against Impale hits is implemented as a debuff on the enemy, because that's the only way it can work with reflected damage, so it applies to all Impale damage the monster takes. Note that you'll have to Impale the monster at least once per every five Minion hits (not just Minion Impales) to keep the buff up.
