Because of the Trickster passive (Swift Killer).

No stun immunity really gets annoying. Very often you're interrupted when casting ED, which led me to some sticky tricky near death experience.

Because we get Frenzy charges via Swift Killer Ascendancy so it's a massive damage increaser.

Hm, I've never experienced this problem, obviously it is somewhat easily solved, amulet/skilltree/pantheon though.

I thought the frenzy changes made it useless for this build? It's only for attacks now.

The frenzy charge changes were reverted before going live. They act exacly like they did before Oriath.

i plan to use kaom boots. it's gonna be glorious

i didn't see arcane surge in the guide. i linked it like this. it's always up when i need it.


this amulet makes good use of the power charges for mind over matter.

Changes were reverted, and either way the Ascendancy Swift Killer makes both Frenzy & Power Charges provide damage increase for the build.

You could skip the increased duration in Contagion & use Arcane Surge in there, I will add this to the guide right away.

As I haven't been able to test it myself I can't 100% confirm, however, BEFORE all the buffs this build got as well as my optimization on it for 3.0 the build killed Uber Atziri so I doubt it's a problem :)

Weapon choices are simple, either get an Essence of Delirium crafted dagger (so you can still use shield charge) or if currency allows use the Breath of the Council. Shield wise for lower budget you can use a rare one, this goes with the rest of the gear as well.

You should really include The Consuming Dark dagger as a cheap starter weapon. Cost me 1C and boosted my DPS with an insane amount.
