Sorry if this has been asked already, but what gems should we be aiming to get at high quality, if any? Is quality on essence drain important?

At the top left you'll see a box with a number, that's the amount of monsters your ED is on. So once that is gone, it's time to re-apply.

Quality what ever gem gives you the most damage. I personally prefer to take Contagion to the quality table first due to not focusing on inc. AoE on the tree this can be a nice QoL. Outside that, just get damage providing quality bonuses which would mean ED and the other support gems.

No easy way at all, this has been one of many things we want GGG to sort :P

What @kayklown wrote is the easiest way to track it, but there's not timer.

I was wondering, any particular reason why this (or similar builds) doesn't take Method to the Madness? Seems like decent + chaos damage fairly nearby.

Also, is there any difference for the skill tree between hc/sc?

Hey,

With SC you can chose to take less HP nodes & get Method of Madness, though it gives just as much dmg as the top right cluster as well (not atrophy) it's a matter of how many points will be spent towards defence/offence and Method of Madness got kicked.

I'm using MoM but it seems like the Enfeeble Blasphemy is taking a large chunk of my mana and cutting my survivability and my damage because I'm out of MP all the time

Hey,

Then you don't have the required mana to sustain MoM, there's a MoM calculator in the guide thread, if you don't have enough to sustain that you shouldn't use MoM :)

Are the linked passives bugged? Why are you taking the 2 frenzy charge nodes on the right side near nullification?
