Hey, Ghazzy! People are already killing Uber and Shaper with ED in 3.0 beta, so it's safe to assume it'll be fine :) Do you really think that armor is a good defence currently? MOM is going to get buffed in 3.0, by redirecting the part of DAMAGE OVER TIME you take to mana (much easier to sustain Righteous Fire, and the LAB is going to be EZ PZ), and with Cloak of Defiance buffed by an additional 20% redirection of damage to mana. https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/6gfoko/cloak_of_defiance_significantly_buffed/ So it's easy 8k HP and good damage with RF. poeplanner tree Look into Equipment section also. Weapon should be a rare dagger with http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Essence_of_Delirium It's going to be cheap and fast league starter build. What do you think? Well, my experience was that it has quite a slow start, i felt ED was realy bad until i could grab a Controlled Destruction to 3L it. Up until there, Fire Trap/Freezing Pulse/Firestorm were better at clearing. I'm still playing with a 4L because i had terrible luck with this char on SSF, so my damage is a bit low.
