I'm a newb just like you and had to research for that. The game and this forum is lacking in explaining a lot of things.

Either way the way to link gear on this game is you click on your character picture on the top left then a pop up of your character will appear just have the cursor where you want the item to appear and just click on the item you want to share.

Anything that's 6L works. However, +1 gem lvl tabula is superior. Another chest you could look at is the Lioneye's Vision providing another support gem.

Just wanted to post a comment on the build.

I have been playing in Essence and am lvl 90, I have 29 challenges done so far and will be at 36 fairly soon. I have cleared lvl 13 and 14 maps with relative ease and killed the bosses unless they have some really bad mods on them.

I have made minor modifications to the build which I will go over, and have found it to be fun and better than it seems to be.

I am using a +1 Tabula Rasa which I bought for 45chaos, it made a big difference to the DPS, I am using a Sai as suggested by an earlier poster for the dodge and a Rathpith, the Rathpith also made a noticable difference when I got it.

My DPS for the DoT portion of Essence Drain is about 31K with no charges and 40k with 7 charges. For bosses I swap pierce for a lvl 3 Empower which boosts to a 4 with the Tabula, I get more DPS this way but found clearing maps with no pierce was way more dangerous as it was hard to kill the totems in the back of groups.

I was able to improve my ability to survive by making a few minor changes.

1. I got rid of Iron Reflexes. I found the damage reduction against trash didn't make up for the loss of evades against bosses. I was at about 10k armor with it so still not enough to stop some one shots. I haven't made any other tree changes as I am happy as is, with no IR it might be better to switch Sanctity but I am not sure what to.

2. As I am not an expert player I kept forgetting to Enduring Cry so I put Blasphemy and Warlords Mark into the Vaal Haste 4-Link. I lose an Inc Dur but the Warlords Mark generates the End Charges I need for Immortal Call and gives a very useful Life Leech. This made a HUGE difference is survivabilty.

3. I use an Essence Worm ring for Grace so with the Blasphemy have about 50% mana reservation, I have not needed Clarity.

All in all I think it is a very cheap and robust build and would recommend it highly.

Has the following been tested?

Blight - Cast While Channeling - Essence Drain - Contagion - <Support gem> - <support gem>? I think that would make this build feel smoother, if the dmg stays relatively the same. I am gonna try it out on a Tabula regardless, I just don't have the means to right now.

Are you sure? As far as i know you cant leech from degen damage of spreading ED, you will just leech from initial hit, and it`s really small.

Really enjoying this build so far. Clearing breaches is crazy fast.

Do you have any recommendations for breach specific or other uniques at endgame besides the ones you linked?

Like right now I am wearing which seems good.

What about using some nodes like Vaal Pact or Mind over Matter, how would those work with this build?

Is this stronger with the current meta then a CI LL trickster ? I mean breaches are rippy and is it worht it to stay with life then isnt it better to transition later on once u get the gear into CI LL?
