GhazzyTV - Essence Drain & Contagion (or Bane/Soulrend) Trickster [SC/HC/Uber Elder/Shaper]

Just got 90 lvl and 24 challenges with the only character going along this build. It's really fun, great clearspeed, effective 'fire and forget' single target DPS, helpful guide. I like the idea of defending via Iron Reflexes. Lots of stuff still do oneshot me, like uber Izaro, went through 6K life+shield and 11K armour with a single attack. Or Dominus/Maegera on rippy map mods tend to stunlock and smash face due to no block/dodge mechanics. But good players should be able to avoid this sort of stuff, have better pot gargling skills, etc.
The main disadvantage of the build, probably, is that as soon as you have a second person in party, even with it being an occultist with -20% chaos res to enemies, clearspeed plummets and fun offscreen pandemics become rare. Again guys:
Im answering any and all questions on the youtube clip very fast as I am RARELY going through the comments in the thread. @pannra Divinarius is a bad dagger for this build. Consuming Dark is great for single target, rare dagger being better for trash clearing. @Bromeek +1 gem lvl Tabula Rasa for higher dmg or stick with your chest for higher defence. TC you havent tested this setup in tiers 11+ right? because im lvl87 5.5k life 32karmor with potions all resists max and many things can one shot me beyond this point, has anyone managed to reach shaper with this build? how you approach dangerous bosses and uber stuff? ww around all the time like crazy with the hope you can avoid everything?
and btw you can craft chaos damage 30%++ on rings with essences, i think its worth mentioning | |

AA + Blasphemy + Enfeeble i much better than grace. This potion is awesome for this build. You can run windscream boots for +1 curse with the potion. But it's optional. The Dagger is awesome - free poison. I dont have problems with anything below tier 12. I haven't done anything bigger yet. I did uberlab, Atziri, The Pale Court already. I have 5,8k hp, 650 ES. With AA, Blasphemy + Enfeeble i dont have any problems with oneshots anymore. That is my way for this build. | |

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here....
I am level 70 with this build, I run two mana flasks, but i still run out of mana. I noticed that no one with this build is using mana flasks.. Am I just a bad shot with my ed > contagion > wither sequencing/timing ? Two fires of ED and your mana is depleted. can someone tell me how the hell you are maintaining your mana.. I just don't get it. Also, there is the ability Whirling Blades. so why on Earth have we got two or even one for that matter, Vaal haste??? using Whirling Blades constantly to get around is faster than Vaal Haste. So i subbed in Ethereal Knives for one Vaal haste, it is handy for cracking open large groups of vases. Another thing. because the build is super squishy, I find that you must play it out much like a ranger. Shooting from afar, with the aim to spread contagion. what's going on here? The build works albeit a little clunky. But I am really unsure about some aspects of it. |
