GhazzyTV - THE Spectre Summoner [LOW & HIGH BUDGET VERSIONS]

Hi!
First of all, thanks for the guide! I'm really enjoying this build!
But I'm having some troubles spawning the solar guards in the maps with desecrate. I have the gem levelled and it allows me to spawn lvl 71 corpses.
But, in T1 or T2 maps, where the creeps are lvl 69, I'm not able to spawn solar guards, even if I have one of the lvl 59 solar guards of solaris temple with me.

Any idea?


EDIT: ok sorry, now I see the "list" of the maps where the solar guards spawn on every tier. I will try those maps, sorry for the silly question!

I played around with this too in a map that wasn't on the confirmed to contain solar guards list. I'm not sure that the video trick still works? Dunno though, maybe you and I were just particularly unlucky

I saw a reddit post fromt august 8th in which they confirmed that the "bug" still worked. Let's wait for Ghazzy's answer!

And, btw:
I have, as you say in the guide, the convocation gem linked with cast when damage taken, but it doesn't appear to work. Something to do with the gem lvl or something maybe?

Hey guys,

First of; for the Convocation to work with CWDT it needs to be in the proper lvl (or lower), just use a lvl 1 Convocation so you don't have to think about it.

Secondly, about the desecrate bug, it's working.
As you can see in the guide I haven't added the information that Solar Guards exists in a lvl 59 area, this is because they don't work with the Desecrate bug, this is also stated in the updated video guide linked in the thread. If you get the lvl 58 ones they should work in any of the maps listed in the guide. UNLESS they have a mod rolled which changes the monsters that habits the area. (example: Area is habited by seawitches & their spawns)

Hey, I have some questions about the glove enchant and EE.

Is it of fury the best for clear speed? Worth it over spite? Any feedback on commandment of the grave would be nice too as I have not tested this.

For single target, what is best way to apply EE? I think of Ire is good enchant and avoids needing to use orb of storms. I have shield charge/whirling blades with ele dmg, but I can only use cold if I complete my insanity helm. Still unsure on this as I'd like something that lasts longer like orb of storms.

Also, is having zombies in cwdt with stone golem smoother in rippier maps (unsure if zombies will die).

My weapon swap for bosses I'm adding desecrate, flesh offering (replacing cwdt flesh offering in main setup), decoy totem. Anything else useful I can bring in if needed?

If you have a link to a post discussing the choice of solar guards vs other spectres like flame sentinel, please include :)

Well, there's no link but I went through different spectre choices about 5-10 times on stream >.<
Clear speed meta spectres:
Solar Guards > Frost Sentinels > Kitava Herald's
Boss kill spectres:
Tuk. Vanguards (usually with 1 wicker man) > the above
High end-game budget boss killer:
Possibly: Kitavas Herald > Tuk. Vanguards we'll see about this soon actually as I'll be conducting some extensive testing on stream.
Support spectres for other main skills:
Wicker Man > Temple or Heretical Guards

Regarding EE procing:
Only actual beneficial glove enchant is the "....of the Grave" as it actually scales with minion damage whilst the others do not. And personally I'd like to get my EE stuff out on demand which OoS does for me.

Zombies will die, so CWDT summoning them is in some situations "smart" problem is that they require higher lvls to not get one shot which means higher lvl CWDT as well as requiring corpses to function so ultimately, I would advice not to do that.

Absolutely! Thank you very much!
Look forward to the results for the kitavas. I know their base aoe isn't great, but their animation with soul eater is nice.

Still though, surprised no mention of flame sentinels or maybe they were nerfed at some point?

Solar Guards are pretty much the augmented versions of Flame Sentinels.
