also, you know the boot/glove enchant is only like a 1:15 chance, right? if one has twice enchanteds, it only takes appx 7-8 runs.

The actual deal was they ended up agreeing on 2 mirror services being completed under demi so demi gets the 2 vouches for his thread and 2 fees and then he gets them back - he will give them back even after dude basically tried blackmailing him and ruining his rep, I assure you this. 1 service has already been done, so just 1 more needed and the agreed on conditions will be met. Go copy the shitboots and he'll get the shitboots back if you don't believe me.

I am so adamantly on Demi's side because that 100% RMT Self-proclaimed E-Commerce God attempted to fuck me over first and failed miserably. Before he went to Demi, he tried giving me the boots for free no strings attached, before he made the suffix base he offered me any amount on paypal for my boots (I sent GGG the logs of this when it happened because homie don't play that shit).

I dunno. On one hand he's a nice guy, he ran me through uber lab for pocket change and I got winter on my gloves that run. On the other hand I saw a video of his and he un-ironically described someone as toxic and got upset when I declared I would rape and pillage a map, so he's an awful person.

the problem is that even if one concede's that entire point, it's still moot. the guy offered to pay for the mirrors and (iirc) even offered to pay for 2 mirror services, just to get the boots back. it was refused.

and the one holding the boots even said so.

Rob, first off, I love how you keep using Cartel as a triggering buzzword. omg. Secondly, you're wrong about the enchant. HELMET enchants are the evenly weighted ones. The weighting is different on boots, ask anyone that knows about it. 10pen/chaos dmg are the rarest enchants on boots, and every other enchant is easier to get. Don't believe me? Do you're research before you spout off shit you don't know - respectfully of course, I'm just being straight up with you. This isn't even open for interpretation, these are scientific numbers.

Someone here on this very forum spent over a week trying to get 10pen on boots - Icedeal was that you? I think?

Thirdly, I know your hate boner for lemon is bigger than the Eiffel tower itself which is fine, but that guy posting that video is a classic case of vengeful buyer's remorse hiding behind "I'm just trying to let others know!!!!!!". Yes, I agree that that gear is worth probably 30ex-ish total, so the click-baity title of SCAMMED ME OUT OF 50EX is inaccurate, and all of that gear he got was already listed with b/o's by Demi.

It's like if I go to a mirror thread where they say on it "100ex fee or 300ex total with my mirror" and then because I didn't do my research prior, I find out mirrors are only worth 180ex and not 200ex. Did that guy just SCAM ME OUT OF 20EX?!?! Fuck no

edit: just saw your latest post - no, the guy offered to give demi two fees, not make 2 copies of the boots. For an up and coming mirror thread vouches are very important, collecting two fees isn't the same as consuming 2 mirrors and receiving 2 vouches on the thread. As previously stated one copy has been made now! edit 2: now i'm back to questioning the weights, as the math is certainly flawed. 15 * 5.01 (gloves) sure doesn't equal 100.

the math on the boots is even worse. if 2 mods are rare, the 13 remaining ones would be more common... not less. (4.94% vs the gloves' flat 5.01). unless they're a hidden result of an enchantment granting literally nothing, this data's worthless.

Well I'm glad you learned something, Rob - it is odd, but it's true and you know that now that you've done your research :). I'm glad I could teach you, a very knowledgeable player that's been here longer than me, something about this game. I hope that trend can continue.

I at one time didn't know that either, but I do now because I did my research. People that charge 5ex for boot enchant always charge 12-15ex for pen and it's not for demand reasons. Standard practice because of scientific numbers, as I originally stated.

You're the first and only person I've read use cartel over and over while it being "just a video game" so It's unique, appears to have intent behind it, and I just find it funny is all. You can say whatever you want man, I'm not a delicate snowflake like many others haha I can take it. And for the fourth time, I respect your opinion and am not telling you to change it. There's a difference between "100ex fee with ur mirror, 300ex fee with my mirror" (no scamming) and PRICE FIXING, and if you still don't agree then we're done man and that's it. The moment any of my buddies do something objectively scammy then I'm out, but IMO that hasn't happened yet, and I'd stick up for any one of you that would be under such scrutiny as well and I don't give a fuck how it makes me look because I value my friends over my mirror service.
