In order to CWDT to proc the skill its linked to, it requires the skill to be in certain level.
For example, if CWDT is at lvl 3 like i have, so if you read the CWDT Description it says "The gem can only support gems requiring level 42 or lower" - if you check, my CI requires level 40. It also says at the bottom that of CI description that the next level will require level 42.
That means I can level my CI one more time, and theen I should stop, otherwise the CI won't be activated with CWDT.

The level requirement needed for CWDT is increasing when you level the CWDT himself, but the higher the CWDT level => the more damage you should take before it will activate the CI.

So its best to have CWDT + CI low level (and making sure that CI isn't in higher level than what your CWDT requires).

Hope I made it clear.

As for ID, you can max it no problem.

lolz and i was wondering why IC and Vaal Grace are never triggering, i had all gems on lvl 20 >.<
got some new gems lvl 3-4 with quality added, its poping all the time, working like a charm now.

vaal skills don't work with CWDT.

/facepalm so i never have been using this skill ...

Why not use these rings, apart from losing life doesn't the double damage help boost the total DPS?

Vaal'd Graste'd him and it worked for 2 seconds, but my 4.4k hp dropped and died almost instantly.

Was 22% increase monster dmg, and 82% increased cold dmg map mod.

Just wondering how you got such a large radius on your Ice Nova? Is that just through quality and gem level?

@Spacer - we don't use this ring for a few reasons:
1) you lose crit chance of diamond ring
2) you lose HP
3) we don't need that much flat dps as we mostly rely on our crits to rape
4) It's still an item of Talisman league only and I couldn't test it on my witch :)

@monkuar - Did you pop both vaal grace + a defensive flask? (Jade flask / Rumi's concoction)
Just warp to his back, hit few times, when he turns warp on his back again etc. He can be painul to melee rangers but with wise plays you can own him.
