First thing you have to do is fix your resistences.
use the website: poe.trade

to search for armor pieces with life + 2 or 3 resistences.

Important: always be in merciless town to see your resistences. dont be in your hideout or in lower difficulty area.

If you manage to do this tree, once you get items with decent life i'd like to see your stats [mainly crit chance, multiplier, dps in town, HP].

I had done exactly the same - I still haven't finished lvling the gems, and the gear has a few glaring issues (low hp and no 6L mainly :/ ) so this is far from optimal, but nevertheless:

Can someone whip up a build for a Marauder version of this that doesn't have acrobatics and doesn't use Carcass Jack?

I want to play HC but the lack of life/armor nodes seems scary.

It has 140% increased max. life I think. Most other HC builds don't have that much more. I am currently leveling this build on hc, not sure how it will turn out. Still a bit scared to run maps later.

Dont bother. Ice nova doesnt shine unless crit and AOE is invloved. I played HC to 81 last ladder as a templar trying to tank it and had a pathetic 15K dps w/ 5L PoH at 81 but 6000 life and 14000 armor. Still died. Why? Because can't out leech incoming with that pathetic DPS. PLay RT Ice crash. More DPS and you can stay in your field.


This is best version period. I've tried CI, Hybrid, LL and HC no crit. Nothing is tankier self cast ice nova. Only thing tankier ice nova related is Matrix's CoC ice nova/discharger.

You should be.

The nemesis reflect packs will screw you hard. You're cruising around a quite normal map blowing everything up and pounce on a "allies reflect" boss and lightning warp will kill you in one shot if it hits on the high side of lighting warps wide variance and crits. Only way to prevent it is pop lightning flask pre-entry. But all it takes is one time forgetting...

Almost any map past 11 bosses can one shot this build. Especially Village ruin, palace, core.
