Frost Wall

On its own this spell looks rather fiddly if you want to keep attacking as well.

Combined with totems (either casting Frost Wall, or casting something else while you cast Frost Wall) it looks absolutely obscene. I can put down completely unkillable walls as fast as my casting/mana allow that also absorb all non-piercing missiles?
Mentionned it a few days before OB and checked again just now, but Quality on this gem does nothing. It changes the tooltip but the wall is still the same size, regardless. Unless I'm misunderstanding what qual is supposed to do on it, I tried a 10%frost wall and a normal frost wall back to back and they were exactly the same walls.
Probably old news but enemies have a tendency to walk right through the majority of my frost walls. This probably has to do with desync on the servers.

Tooltip says the Wall is impenetrable by non-piercing projectiles but my Freezing Pulse goes through. Bug?
Has your Freezing Pulse ever stopped after hitting someone? No? Well that's how Piercing works :P
Nice skill as i love the 'invincible wall' thing but skill duration is way too short :
Lvl 1 FW : 0.85 sec cast time for 1.25 sec duration ...
Invincibility is useless if the wall doesn't last.

At least 3 second base duration with some pasive in skill duration would make the skill more usefull but the 'right' base duration is hard to find because of the invincibility witch can make this skill too much powerfull with high level character.

I would prefer a rework of this skill :

FrostWall is destroyable and have a big amount of HP.
FrostWall melt and loose % of current HP per second.
Passive bonus to skill duration should increase the amount of HP.
Anything else would remain unchanged.

This way the wall could be considered 'invincible' the first few second but will be easy to break after a short time.

I did notice a slight effect from quality. However, the quality is so miniscule it is barely noticeable. Even on 15% I can hardly notice a difference from the non quality version.

I may be wrong, my eyes may be deceiving me. Basically I had to put my face right up against the monitor and squint to notice a difference.

This skill is very good. Borderline OP. You guys who are saying it has poor duration don't know what you are talking about.

Comments on the skill's viability aside (spoiler: it's awesome), I have a bug report and it's reproducible.

Bug: Kudukukukdukdukd the False God's Spark penetrates the wall but not players.

To reproduce: Drop a frost wall in front of Kuduekskekdkskekd's Sparks and see roughly half of them pass through the wall. Allow as many as possible to hit your character; none pierce. Tested on Cruel.
The duration issue is due to how it levels- you have to get it up to 5, 6 or higher, combined with increased duration, to get it even to 2 secs, which is about the minimum to be useful.

If it has any issues, it's that scaling of duration. The duration should be more standardized, and the width/speed of segment appearance/damage of wall should be what levels get you. Possibly give it hitpoints as someone mentioned, like the old school bone wall, although that minimizes it's usefulness on bosses or large crowds, which is waht it's for in the first place.

Unrelated, why don't we have a firewall? I want to channel things into a kill zone and burn them all.
