Frost Wall

I can't seem to get it to consistently block projectiles either. Not something I'd risk my life or exp on.
This is my nominee for Most Underappreciated Skill in the Game.

Having played with Frost Wall on my current level 85 character, I honestly can't imagine playing the vast majority of ranged-type characters without it. The extra survivability it provides is phenomenal, turning some certain-deaths into easy-survives.

I love you, Frost Wall. Please don't change. Ever.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
This skill when coupled with Trap gem, once it goes off shots ALWAYS in the same direction, i mean that it stretches in a line from NW to SE corners of the screen and it doesnt take into consideration relative position of the player to these traps at the moment of either putting the trap or it's release. IMHO It should launch relative to current position of the player (just like normal un-trap-linked Frost Wall does).

Frost Wall does negligible damage by itself, but it apparently has 100% damage effectiveness...

Has anyone made a 'killer Frost Wall' build, using flat added damage support gems? The damage output would be on the low side, but the defensive possibilities would be incredible, so you could go with a fairly aggressive build.

by "kill" do you mean both enemies and allies? Yeah it could do pretty good damage with things like Added Chaos but you're going to annoy the crap out of your party.

Well, I was thinking of a solo build, for obvious reasons in this case. (I play solo anyway.)
i start using FW for the first time in my shadow trapper on ambush (very glass cannon build) and so far is amazing, linked to a mid lvl CoDT (8 or 9) creates a wall that either pushes back melee or stops lots of the ranged attacks when i actually need'it... is a bitch on party though and for corridor heavy maps (prision or weaber nest tipe) can be a problem, but for most part i just love the skill, very fun to play whit.
Frost wall is currently knocking enemies onto terrain pieces, where they freeze and can't be damaged. Enemies are also able to walk through it and shoot through it most of the time.
i would love to use CWDT level 1 + Frost Wall with my leap slam Marauder but it's completely bugged (knocks most of the enemies inside walls). Hope for a fix soon. [written on 27/5]

wow after patch 1.1.4 and a couple of hours of test i can say that frost wall is finally fixed, not a single mob stuck in wall so far! well done Devs! [written on 29/5]
