Funny thing is Cyclone is probably the most OP it ever has been in LLD. GGG really does need to balance LLD and HLD separately.
actually GGG did the right thing to cyclone but in other hand they should also balance Molten shell/EA/Fire trap

There was just too many cycloners in pvp, continuous whining of opness and overuse got it nerfed, they did give free respecs so it should not be a problem to come up with something new for you guys.

On another hand i think a cyclone hld nerf was needed.

Many cycloners for sure but majourity was just shit and easily counterd but people just stood still and think facetank is the best thing to do in pvp and used to tactics so they got rekt. Reason cyclone was concidered OP was honestly not because it was op itself, but mroeso the other skills that were quite shit and the fact that you can attack when moving.

Surely, it was strong and could need a nerf, but 30% LESS(not reduced) is hugh. Meanwhile we got things that can kill wayfaster and even 1shot i.e crit reave, flicker, moltenshel(doesnt require crit), mines, most spells,cwdt spells, traps though can be countered in a few ways. These can 1shot 10k hp where cyclone cant. Have you guys actually seen 2 good 2hs fight? They can cyclone eachother for ages before anyone is close to be low, and meanwhile you can get remote mined and die instantly.

I am not saying it wasn't in need of a nerf, though values was honestly weird and several other things, that did way more damage and was more broken was left. Also buffing BL and cascade quite a lot was anohter stupid noob. Whoever is in charge of PvP balance should probably look mroe into it before doing something someone tells them to do.

Also, should add I got both a top crit ranger and 2 casters(which I favour at the moment over my 2h) so it's not like im trying to make 2h stronger or anything, cause I've been nerfed pretty much every patch. Another weird change(though wasn't aimed for PvP) was Light warp. It's really slow now and I notice a hugh difference since I used to warp every second and never stand still and facetank with their moltenshell cwdt tempest shield which some people do and then complain that they died due to not mvoing and bad rng with their 1shotting nobrain skills.

If you want to balance you don't nerf 1 thing and leave the rest as if it was fine.

Well at least for LLD, the Cyclone nerf is displaced by Melee Physical Damage and Concentrated Effect becoming available. It has a much lower mana cost as well. I think it's honestly the strongest it's ever been in LLD.

Vouch. I've invested enough time and currency into a completely worthless system. 1.2 was still the best PVP this game has ever seen. 1.3 we saw an increase of imbalance with the emergence of trigger gems. 1.4 is completely fuck broke. We've only begun to realize how bad 1.4 is. I'll probably be taking quite a bit of time away from this game lol

This right here is how I feel playing my 2h character. I want to use other skills but they are shit because they require you to stop moving in order to attack. Even as a ranger with added MS% on tree and fast attack speed for leap slam its really hard to catch some people if your not using cyclone.

I read all this and see only bla bla about pvp cyclone -30% nerf(LESS DMG) , some "GURU" now tell me that it is good balance for cyclone , but , u forget that we got 3pl nerf of cyclone in 2.0, 3!!!
1st U ar so lasy, that cant compare gem v 2.0 vs 1.3 , what we got on gem ? right - 80% increase phys dmg, +12% base att dmg , yessss , but GGG nerf all 2H in dmg and u forget this.
2 Cyclone is AOE gem , AOE!!! what we got in 2.0 ? -10% AOE , but this is not only this nrf we got nerf of AOE gem + Conc eff. So cyclone lost AOE part, u forget this too.
3And now we come for -30% nerf in pvp. Show me plz this nerf on any of u gems "GURU"
