Cyclone now deals 30% less damage

Ya nerfs are fine. I'm used to playing low-mid tier builds/characters in everything. Generally it winds up the other way around the tier whoring players get repeated nerfs to things that are obviously really strong...then they cry and tier whore to the next broken thing. It's happened here a few times. While low-mid tier go unscathed and often receive proper buffs. This game though I dunno, their a little lost yet when it comes to whats so good you can literally stand in place and win vs what actually takes fundamentals and a brain. I'm sure a lot of it is because of LLD primarily and the other end is who they talk to in HLD but thats besides the point. Still wondering why casters are standing there tanking melee...ES vs Hp ratios are still skewed even with legacy Kaoms you're behind and 1h weapons with even a 250% multiplier generally > the best 2h weapons free. Why traps/mines are still 1 shotting people with any attack from spells to puncture. Why people think this is almost any different with or without legacy gear, because the result is almost the same even on new leagues. Fortify sucks ass too btw, I've tested it and it's frankly pretty useless in PvP.

Oh well act4 is solid though. Finally some cool monster designs, mob density buff, the drops and I like the zones much better too. Gives it a Diablo 2 act4-5 feel I thought this game missed before.

So just tried sarn for fun and cyclone is shit now, I get killed by blockers even with the block gem and the sword block nods now.

Rip cyclone :(

You forgot Path of Criticals, Path of Bow, Path of Caster. Melee with the exception of crit dagger has always and will always be less viable in Hld PvP. The tree is simply designed for armor (shit), hp (pools smaller then es users WITH block) and life regen which is mute in a game of burst damage i.e 1hit kill mines, or during a tank battle you as melee vs a CASTER...yes a CASTER, trading hits your regen isn't a factor here. Oh what am I doing anyways, I'm not getting into this shit again I already said it 100s of times.

Regen can be an "ok-ish" option though to make it viable you need to sacrifice a lot in damage, and I mean a lot. Pair that with the new cyclone nerf which is one of few viable 2h skills and you'll do quite bad dps, might tickle them if you're lucky

Point was regen is viable on a hit and run basis more so then at direct melee range. Where you're taking burst damage from the continually ignored critical multiplier potential. Or where you die to puncture before it even has a chance to degen because the crit was so strong it didn't matter (standing still). Again, back to PvMing let the geniuses continue PvP feedback and balance.

Can confirm, showthefall just one shot me with his 4l molten shell even with my 9k life and 50% crit reduction. btw dagger flicker strike can one shot ppl again with phase run. balancehype
