[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)

I have a question about the bow crafting. I have one with +2, add fire damage and 40 % light resistance. I would love to use the high light resi role. Would i be able to craft the +1, another resi and the dot? As I unterstood i can have 3 prefixes und 3 suffixes? At the moment I have 2 pre and 1 suff. Can i craft cannot roll attack mods + can have multiple crafts. then exalt the bow. remove the cannot roll and then craft 1 resi + dot or do i have 1 prefix too much?

You would either have to roll no attack mods and gamble that your exalt goes for prefixes first, or go multimod > no attack > exalt > remove crafted mods (which would remove BOTH of those), then multimod AGAIN to do another resistance.

That's 6ex, not including the cost of 6Ling it.

However, no matter how you cut it, the added fire damage prefix would mean that you couldn't craft Leo DoT (+1, +2, added fire = 3 prefixes).

OR.

With some patience you'd probably be able to find a guy selling a bow in Standard for relatively cheap, like 8ex ish.



Alternately, we could arrange a time where I could sell you that one for 8ex.

It is already 6 linked :) I cant buy items from you because i play on XBOX :) Didn't know that Leos DoT is a prefix. So i need to craft it completly new. Without the DoT its useless. Furthermore i need the 2 res, because i run 2 Andvarius.

Yeah your best bet might very well be to craft it yourself from scratch using Method 3 here in the OP.

Is it worth playing this build if I do not have tabs to sell things for 1-2 chaos? And, for example, simply do unidentified chaos-recipes.

Sure, you will do about 20-25 C / hour with currency drop and chaos recipe :)

I mean, no matter what build you play, you're going to be at a disadvantage if you don't have room to sell more items, regardless of what you price them at.

If there's an aspect of this game that's pay-to-win, that's it.

That said, it appears as though you're a Standard player (based on the fact that your account name doesn't have any completed challenges), and most things in Standard that are only worth 1-2c won't sell anyway, because lots of players are playing more robust characters already, so it's not AS big a deal in Standard.

To that end, MF builds are probably slightly more effective in Standard, as you will more consistently find better-rolled items.

Regardless, if you price everything in your tabs individually, rather than setting buyout tabs, you can still sell a lot of items with less tabs available by being more space-efficient.

For example, in temp leagues I have 11 shop tabs (1c, 2c, 3c.... 10c, and a Big Money tab for anything 15c+).

But in Standard (whenever I play Standard), because I'm an absolute HOARDER in Standard lol, I only have five shop tabs (6c, 8c, 10c, and two 15c+ tabs) and sell a fair chunk of items just fine, and I could easily pare that down to three tabs (one individually priced tab for anything 10c or less, and two tabs for 15c+).

Anyway, long story short, if you want to MF, yeah, you don't need a lot of tabs to pull it off.

Nope. The highest dps cloud takes precedence, regardless of damage source (which is why this build doesn't use Mirage Archer).

So if you have two clouds overlapping and one does 1200 dps and the other does 1000 dps, only the 1200 dps one will do damage.

The XBOX Version doesn't have Leo. So no DoT craft *facepalm*
