[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)

Is it worth playing this build if I do not have tabs to sell things for 1-2 chaos? And, for example, simply do unidentified chaos-recipes.

" I mean, no matter what build you play, you're going to be at a disadvantage if you don't have room to sell more items, regardless of what you price them at. If there's an aspect of this game that's pay-to-win, that's it. That said, it appears as though you're a Standard player (based on the fact that your account name doesn't have any completed challenges), and most things in Standard that are only worth 1-2c won't sell anyway, because lots of players are playing more robust characters already, so it's not AS big a deal in Standard. To that end, MF builds are probably slightly more effective in Standard, as you will more consistently find better-rolled items. Regardless, if you price everything in your tabs individually, rather than setting buyout tabs, you can still sell a lot of items with less tabs available by being more space-efficient. For example, in temp leagues I have 11 shop tabs (1c, 2c, 3c.... 10c, and a Big Money tab for anything 15c+). But in Standard (whenever I play Standard), because I'm an absolute HOARDER in Standard lol, I only have five shop tabs (6c, 8c, 10c, and two 15c+ tabs) and sell a fair chunk of items just fine, and I could easily pare that down to three tabs (one individually priced tab for anything 10c or less, and two tabs for 15c+). Anyway, long story short, if you want to MF, yeah, you don't need a lot of tabs to pull it off. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

I think that i know the answer but i am going to ask anyway ;) does the cloud stack with other clouds in party play?

" Nope. The highest dps cloud takes precedence, regardless of damage source (which is why this build doesn't use Mirage Archer). So if you have two clouds overlapping and one does 1200 dps and the other does 1000 dps, only the 1200 dps one will do damage. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. Odd, but support for that should be on the way eventually. Just leave a prefix open for when it does.

As someone starting with a low level char, what are some of the major nodes you would aim for first? Would you directly get the life nodes to the left as well?

Honestly, you can level with pretty much anything these days.
Depends largely on what twink gear you have available to you. Any projectile spell is decent, really. EK, Freezing Pulse, etc. Could also just do Firestorm. Idk what twink gear you have available to you but if you don't have stuff like Lifesprig or Reverberation Rod, then you want to stick with ele skills so you can craft your own +1 sceptre/wand from the recipe. If you have a tabula, pretty much anything goes. Sunder's probably among the best leveling skills at the moment, so using twink uniques + tabula + sunder = you win the game. Or Frost Blades. What skill you end up choosing determines what nodes you grab, but it's pretty much just grab life/damage along the way and then respec into CA-related dmg nodes at the end. Ideally you end up choosing SOME form of physical-based projectile skill because that dovetails the easiest with CA's end-game tree, so I would recommend Frost Blades, most likely, as the projectile dmg nodes will benefit the secondary aspect of the attack. The way I usually end up doing it is * pick a proj skill * beeline for Fury Bolts * Bravery/Golem's Blood * then Ballistic Mastery via Heart of Oak * Ranger proj dmg nodes * keep an eye on str/int requirements, grab Primal Spirit as necessary * Blood Siphon * If I've picked a physical skill, I'll take Will of Blades, knowing I'm speccing out of that later. Otherwise, Entropy * Either way, into Fangs of Viper > Nullification / Sniper * Blood Drinker * Then at this point I'm prepping to switch into CA, so I grab Method to the Madness, switch to CA, and fill out the rest of the tree prioritizing jewel sockets as I find good jewels, the scion life wheel, and frenzy charges last.
