Played this build to lvl 93 and found it's great for solo mapping - fast, smooth and straightforward playstyle. But once you start doing some end game maps in groups (approx. T12+) you really start to feel the lack of single target damage output. It becomes painfully obvious in scenarios where I can be zapping away furiously at a rare/unique enemy only to have someone else swoop in and quickly finish them off with their proper single target skill (incursion bosses in groups also comes to mind as one of the more obvious examples of bad single target damage).
I don't want to shit on your build as it's an extremely well written guide and I am still having fun with it. I just can't shake the feeling that my end-game, regarding single target, is not going to improve much beyond the point I'm at now (and at end-game, damage is practically our main focus - softcore especially).
Please feel free to look at my gear (Name: Doosra). Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I'm sure there's not a great deal of headroom left to reach the desired damage output I would expect from a well geared build (stat stick builds for example).
Thanks though. And good effort with the build and guide.
Look at my profile, im sitting at ho with 68.600 damage with golems up, so i suppose you have a lot to improve.
I've actually looked at your profile already from a previous post you made xD There's not much of significance there really, apart from extra cast speed and the +1 chain on helmet (I've never needed helmet enchants that are stupidly rare to enable a build for end game). I'm sitting at 50k in my hideout which i expect would rise to a comparable figure of your dps as my gems reach 20/21. I still don't think it will be enough for high hp mobs in high tier areas with a full group.. but we shall see.

@Damoochie: It's true, Arc got much better in that regard with the buff but it's still not a Molten Strike or Blade Flurry. That said, you still have some room for DPS improvements there.
Biggest ones would be a Lv21 Vaal Arc and Empower Lv4, I know that both are costly but where others have to invest into a better weapon for base damage, we have to raise it this way. Then there's also enchantments, i'd recommend to farm the penetration enchant on boots, for helmet you can consider buying Watcher's Eye and replace MotC with a rare with the Arc chains enchant, or farm for it.
I just know that by this stage of my last few serious builds I was absolutely carving up bosses and anything with decent HP; even with extra mob HP from full groups and even with only a 5l. Unfortunately, Arc doesn't feel anywhere near those builds in terms of damage potential; at least not without a lot of extra effort perfecting things that generally should only be considered gravy (helm enchants, high lvl corrupted gems etc.). I'm tired of stat stick builds... but dammit i'll make another one if it's the simplest way to get real damage.
I will, however, persevere with your build to see what it feels like when it's mostly complete. It's still a fun, fast mapping build :>

I have almost everything except for the Inpulsa.
Should I buy one and try to 6L it?
Cheapest one atm is ~50c and this is the currency I got

A 6linked Inpulsa is around 5ex.

So here's what I don't get about the passive tree. Instead of spending those last few points on the left to get an extra socket and some strength (for health), why don't you just build into Lightning Walker for more damage output? It grants Lightning resistance too, so you would always be at cap and that 34% extra with just one or two lightning resist items.

Having a 6l definitely helps... but... you have a headhunter. Is that not enough!? ;p
