@DucYokpo: You could look for a new shield, rings (maybe Essence Worm if you can afford) and a new amulet. Also switch either the mana or hybrid flask for a basalt.

The sceptre you found is probably not worth that much due to the lightning damage% temple mod being around, but can still try your luck and sell it. I've played SSF all league so no idea about value tho.

@tofukiwi: You can get a topaz ring by vendoring an iron ring together with a green skill gem.

@Damoochie: Yeah that's probably true, some skills are just more suited for single target damage, especially if they can be affected by the absolutely broken stuff that statsticks are.

Arcs strength is still clearing, only with traps/mines and Shimmerons it's probably sick single target.

@burtoncliff: I'd say just buy an unlinked one and spam all fusings you find and get through converting your jewelers in town. Good luck!

@SinfulC: A jewel can give exactly the same stats, plus more on top. Capping resistances isn't an issue for this build, even when keeping the permanent -30% penalty after each Kitava fight in mind.

@ToxicXfi: The game currently shows no buff icon for this, but you can see it in your character sheet. I've added that to the guide.

Yo im almost finished, need some minor min maxing and next step is close to mirror tier items.



I have been thinking if theres is any way to improve more upon it and i can't found any gear wise. At least in temp league right now you cant find much better items.

What about going crit? Is it possible, viable, better, worse?
I think crit doesn't work well with caster builds, but i dont know a lot about the skill tree.
What do you think?

What stats/level would you suggest before doing Merc Lab?

Abit late, but perhaps you can still need the help:

Take
- any Magic (blue) Sceptre or Wand (ofc preferrably with 3 blue linked sockets)
- A topaz ring (white, blue, yellow)
- 1 Orb of Alteration

"Sell" everything to a vendor - you get a Magic (blue) Wand/Scepter with +1 lvl to Lightning Gems socketed in this item. You can check if you did the recipe right, before you "sell" the items in the trade preview.

Very fun build until now, just finished act 10. Not sure I'll get it very far, but I'll at least use it to advance enough into maps to farm some currency.

Small question, is it better damage-wise to wear a 5-link Inpulsa, or any other 6 link armor ?

@kwstas778: Since you have a Watcher's Eye with Wrath mana leech you don't really need Mind of the Council, could replace that with a rare with Arc enchant and more resistances, which would allow you to replace the boots and get penetration enchant there, and maybe even a belt with flask duration. Other than that nothing to realistically improve there.

For this build crit isn't worth it, the damage gain is very marginal while we have to give up lots of survivability and are gated into very few gearing options to make it work. Something that has more potential is going for 150% shock effect, I'll experiment with this and if it's working well on a budget it'll make it into the next patch version.

@nymzeepoe: You should do fine in Merciless lab, i've done it with like 4k life and a Lv16 Arc in SSF and had no issues. For Uber Lab i'd recommend atleast 5k life, 1.5k unreserved mana and a Lv18 Arc.

@thomzon: 5L Inpulsa will be a little lower single target damage, but clearing will be much faster.
