Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page
" 2: There is a little end of a sentence in the helmet part of the gear section which is easy to miss, I did the same thing.. You need one specific little node on the skill tree that doesnt even have a name. Search bar at the top of the passive tree for a node called "Influence" which is up near top centre. You need to pick just one of the minor steps leading toward the node named "influence" to get a 4% reduction in mana reservations which then lets you run 4 auras. 3: You need to spam Jun missions and unveil weapons, I'm doing the same right now. Be warned the betrayal final boss fight is chaotic and completely unintuitive, you NEED to watch some videos with spoilers to beat it. You can get a good flask from it though, and the helm that can drop is the one we use, so it's good to have a couple to put lab enchants on without overwriting an okay enchant hoping for a good one. So totally worth grindingnout the betrayal over a few times. Buffing breachstones makes good money. |

" This build uses Eldritch Battery (from helmet or skill tree), which means your ES is considered mana for the purposes of MoM. Last edited by mtotheroo#3582 on May 5, 2020, 7:11:04 PM

yes I do my problem is not dex its mana reserved
|

" Vaal grace is not an aura. We use that gem only for vaal grace, not for grace (which is the aura) itself. If you're using vaal grace as a skill gem, you can use aspect of the spider to reserve the rest of your mana. It's a suffix you can beastcraft (on any rare item you're wearing i think?). Which is another 15% more damage multiplier. |

" aah thx man now I got it |

How my staff craft turned out for anyone interested.
Total cost: 2 ex (one from a mistake), 1 regal, 1 crusaders exalted orb, 190 chaos buying beasts. I still need to unveil the trigger socketed gems when you use a skill, so I have something else useful in there for now. Thanks for the advice everyone. Now a related question: Eclipse and regal staffs are quite different in the implicit side but very similar in general attack DPS stats. Enki used an eclipse for global crit chance. An Imperial Staff has 18% chance to block attack damage. There's a balance there between defence and offence, at what point should I consider my defences are good enough to give up the Staff defensive options? Is an Imperial with 18% block a better choice in some circumstances or playstyles? Or is Global Crit the be all and end all and you don't need to defend against a dead opponent? |

" Happy to craft that for you if you want. Just add/PM me if so. " I never really considered the defensive value of the Imperial Staff. Having now thought about it now though, I don't think it's meaningful enough as we don't have stack any other sources of block. Consider this: Assume I have 50% evasion and 40% dodge. My chance to effectively avoid damage should be 1 - (1-50%)(1-40%) = 70%. Now say I pick up 18% chance to block attack damage. My effective chance to avoid damage would be 1 - (1-50%)(1-40%)(1-[18%/2])= 72.7%. That's only an additional 2.7% chance to avoid damage. FYI I have halved the 18% in this calc to reflect the rough assumption that half of our incoming hits are attacks, with the other half being spells. Based on the above, I would value the 100% increased critical chance over an additional 2.7% chance to avoid damage. Ultimately it will all depend on the individual set-up, but for this build my general sense is that it is unlikely that an additional 18% block chance for attacks would be more valuable than the 100% increased critical chance. Hey, I am lvl 81 but I still dont get how to do the gems. I can't put the Second Wind Support in my boots, because I don't have enough mana. What am I doing wrong here?
Also in the guide it says I should corrupt Arc, but then where do I place it? |
