It sounds like you bought an Agnerod North, not an Agnerod West. Agnerod West still includes added lightning damage.

Yes, that's it! Damn it, the trade controls are so bad on the PS4 and there's no way to look for just the one thing you want so I didn't realise there are nearly identical staffs... :/ One more achievement to my noob fcuk ups hall of fame.

EDIT: Is it worth grinding for Jeweller's boon 5-link div card to replace the North staff with the West variant or just carry on with this for now?

Sorry on mobile here... Just wanted to say quick, not sure if anyone else is having the issue on mobile at all or lot but the skill trees from act 7+ do not register on Poe mate and the website says it's out of date. The site won't allow any movement of the tree. I'm in act 7 right now and no clue where my points are to go...
Hi apologies if anything i say doesnt make sense i only started this week but had a few friends help me.

So for my chest i grabbed an inpulsa's broken heart because it was a cheap option for a 6l chest that wasnt tabulas, my issue is its 5 blue one green 6l i was wondering if anyone could reccomend a green support gem and which blue support to remove because getting a corrupted chest to 6 blues is a monumental effort?

I was thinking of Chain support but im unsure as to which blue support to not include when i switch over.

You can recolor corrupted items with the crafting bench. All the recoloring recipes can also be applied to corrupted items at the cost of using one Vaal Orb for every Chromatic Orb required.

6L Inpulsa with 103 dex and 106 int requirements actually has good chances of achieving 6 blue sockets. According to the Vorici Calculator the cheapest way would be the "At least 1 blue socket" recipe.

That'd cost 4 chromatic orbs + 4 vaal orbs per try and on average takes around 50 attempts, which would equal an average cost of 200 chromes + 200 vaal.

Standard deviation is another 50 attempts, so it might also cost you twice as much if you're unlucky. And if you're *really* unlucky maybe even more. This certainly isn't cheap, but also not "monumental". If you really wanted, you could give it a try. Heck, if you're lucky you might even get 6 blue in the first 10 attempts, who knows...

As for what to replace: I'm kinda out of the loop with the build, but Chain Support does sound like a possible decent option to me. Otherwise I remember that we used Hypothermia in several previous versions of the build. You'd just have to figure out a way to get Cold Damage to spells then. But like I said, I'm not exactly in the loop anymore.

As for what support gem to replace. I think it might be best to test this in Path of Building. I couldn't really tell.

Appreciated for the help unfortunately as this is my first char ever on poe and ive only been playing for a week i dont think i have the resources to keep rerolling at the moment so im sorta just getting the most out of what ive got, chain seems to be going well at the moment, ive took out crit strikes support as ive supplimented it on my other pieces of gear compared to some of the other supports i couldnt theoretically make up for.

Gunna grind like hell try get thoose vaal and chromatics going and if i get high enough in time that damage is becoming an issue and i need to swap that green out for a blue ill just reroll as hard as i can.

Once again thanks for the help much appreciated
If rolling about 200 chromas is a monumental effort for you, just a warning that you may not enjoy endgame mapping.
Get a lootfilter if you haven't already, and just collect 3 and 4 inventory tile sized three colour linked items as you go. it wont take long to collect.

The vaal orbs that have to accompany the cromatics are more the problem I think. The inpulsa's seems to be corrupted.
