[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses
Yeah, it's mostly legacy reach and it's totally elemental damage multiplied by Signal fire,PtL,hatred,HoA, Wed,elemental damage rolls, vaal haste, two flasks and other minor boosts.
Unbuffed it's 52k. Mostly i overdamage bosses resistances. |

Around what tier are you able to consistently farm with that, Zero?
I also think for some players we should be setting the correct expectations with appropriate gear levels. Like I'm confident with my setup I've never run into trouble with anything including Guardians/Shaper/Uber/ULab, but for beginning players just hitting Reds and Normal Atziri could be the goal. It looks like all the "tweaks" are minor. At base level your DPS is still 5 times mine and that must help significantly. I am not killing quickly enough and then get hit, whereas a higher DPS stops that in its tracks. As you say it's likely to be your bow at 450 DPS but they are rare and about 40 Exe.

" With my current equip t15 isn't a problem, but since i am too lazy, i only killed Hydra half a dozen of times, mostly deathless. Glare with close-to-perfect rolls can deal with t15 as well and that's around 350 dps bow. It's much cheaper expecially if one can link it together |

Thank you very much for this AWESOME guide. I have laearned a lot reading it!

Did some testing tonight (finally got internet) with some budget level gear. Mainly this was meant for David but it seems that we are a little bit off in time zones so I'll just leave it here for analysis. I did have a 6S5L ~300 pDPS Harbinger to test with, so I wanted to see what the damages were like.
Build concept basically 5L AOE clear with 6L Barrage for bosses. I don't think you need much more than that for most content up to T15 tbh. What is budget? Depends on you and your playstyle. Tree - Here High Level, but I would just trim out Vitality Void down to 2 Leech Nodes instead of 4, 1 Jewel Socket, and most likely Quickstep for it to be a Level 89 Tree, very obtainable. Bandits Oak + Point + Kraityn. I buy most of my gear in temp league so prices may differ from Standard. Honestly, it's prolly worth it try because some of this stuff is dirt cheap. Breakdown of the gear:
Spoiler
Things to not pay attention to: Quicksilver Flask of anything is fine. I just had a Legacy one lying around. Gear is very basic, Life + Resists on Boots/Belt/Gloves, DPS on Jewelry/Quiver, Rat's Nest + Tabula + Bow. For the Resists gear it's literally bargain bin 3-10c stuff in Temp League with a 4c Master Craft slapped on there. You can also buy a random Corrupted 6L with GGGBBR like this one, but with lower strength requirement: Pricing breakdown: Rat's Nest: No Helm Enchant with that roll is probably 3-4c in BSC atm Tabula: 8-9c in Breach Bow: 6s5L Bows fairly expensive, ~2 ex or so in BSC. Or you could get a random 300 pDPS bow/Lioneye and use a 15c Jeweller's Touch on it Signal Fire: 8c Gloves/Belts/Boots: Most likely in the 3-10c range Vinktar Flask: Cheapest is 47c in BSC atm, get this last but it's a nice upgrade Atziri Flask/Rest of the Utility Flasks: 1-3c each Jewels: At this point in BSC, 3-mod Damage Bow Jewels will set you back 2-5c each DPS since I know people are interested: Lightning Arrow (5L): Tornado Shot (Just replace LA for TS, 5L): This is with all buffs. Keep in mind for the TS screenshot the Jewels are the same so the "Lightning Damage" bonuses aren't given to TS. Gets ~110K Barrage DPS for bosses. Video: Sorry for sloppy gameplay, just giving an idea of the build. I haven't touched a computer in over a week so the feel of mouse/mechanical keyboard is weird atm. Enfeeble Map makes things a little awkward, but was the first double pack size I rolled, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ http://plays.tv/s/L89O8LYym9NP Fake Temp League Elitists LUL Last edited by _Saranghaeyo_#5448 on Feb 1, 2017, 9:46:29 PM

_Saranghaeyo_ why you take Primal spirit and Druidic rite ? Not enough mana for lightning arrow ?
There is one such Jewel online for 1 ex: damage + phys bow damage + global crit. (People left the Breach league and do not actually sell) Last edited by Max_ak#2633 on Feb 2, 2017, 4:38:49 AM

Saranghaeyo, many thanks for this and posting info on a bow similar to mine is awesome and I appreciate the time you've taken.
There is a big discrepancy on the DPS tho. Mine is about 8k and with flasks and frenzy 12k. I still cannot see why there is still a massive difference. DPS seems important as you gain a lot if you have some life leach and you also kill faster so aren't as vulnerable. Similarities. My skill tree is v. similar to yours apart from I've got heavy draw and you have 3 jewels with hit damage. (I have one) I have a Harbinger with 49 +32% crit strike. That should be great! Differences between us. You have a ring with 20% global crit strike. Is that enough to make a significant difference? The only other difference then is Pathfinder versus DeadEye What's the issue with bandits? Does that make a significant difference? It seems incredible to have such similar builds and kit and yet such a big difference in ability. I'll keep looking and once again thanks |

" Because Flask uptime is incredibly important, and not mentioned in this guide. For example videos see: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1711388 I chose a random 3-mod Jewel, and not telling you to replicate the stats on mine. You can choose any 3 damage mods, Physical Damage %, Damage %, Projectile Damage%, etc. See current Breach search: http://poe.trade/search/niureninyooyan This stuff is cheap trust me. Only gets expensive when you want Max Life % @David: I build for maximized Critical Strike Chance, which is not really emphasized in this guide. In the video I posted is a nice example actually, since the Enfeeble Map reduces Crit Chance you can see what happens when you Crit vs. what happens when you don't Crit. The Ranger in the video is actually a Raider, just a random theorycraft. Raider seems quite popular these days. But really doesn't matter, both Pathfinder and Raider perform pretty well I think Raider is faster this Patch. Deadeye would never be able to match the speed of Raider, or the Flask Uptime/Utility of Pathfinder. Bandits already mentioned, Oak + Point + Kraityn for Frenzy Charge. Main thing is, you must learn how to gear this character easily. I choose Rare Gloves/Belt/Boots with Tri-Resistance and Master Craft Life so I can basically cap my Resistances with 3 pieces of Gear + help from Tree, or come close. Jewelry is reserved for getting Flat Physical Damage and/or WED wherever available, and ofc on Amulet Critical Strike Chance. This is the most important part. You are playing a Physical Bow Build, which scales off of Physical Damage, including Auras like Hatred, etc. If you do not buy this stat, your damage will suffer. No need to pay attention to the Crit % on the Ring, that is an old Essence Ring. It actually doesn't matter in this gear set because I would have Crit Cap with or without it using a Diamond Flask. The actual point was to demonstrate that once you get enough gear to Resist Cap, much more freedom on the rest of your gear to do things. The Ring I have is basically just there to boost some Physical Damage and WED, and that's it. The other ring I use, the DPS stats are just a pile of Flat Physical Damage, which adds quite a lot.
