Small question, when running LA i deal 100% Lightning Damage (LA converts 50% and PTL converts the other 50%) and the spec only have physical leech. Is there another spec for LA?

" I am now running herald-coh-assassin's mark for autocursing while mapping, and a 20% proj weakness (which I got for 5c only, this gem is very impopular) for cursing bosses manually, and the more I think about it the more I am convinced that it is the best of both worlds. Shower thought: no two rares are the same. So rares are unique, while uniques are not. On the other hand, uniques are rare, while rares are not.

Hi,
Until you have the uniques that trigger frenzy, if you run Tornado Shot you're pretty much forced to run Frenzy to generate...um...frenzy. However, as may have been pointed out elsewhere, you can also use Ice Bite. Therefore I am using Ice Shot as my preferred main attack. This makes my primary: 4L - IS, GMP, WED, IB 5L - PTL 6L - Chain/PPAD The idea of this is that it pretty much keeps my frenzy charges up. Especially when powered with Hatred + Herald of Ice. It also creates awesome AOE and is defensive too, because everything gets very, very cold. My questions: 1) Does PTL reduce the impact of Life leech/mana leech because it is converting to Lightning? 2) Is Chain or PPAD better? 3) Does PTL reduce damage from Hatred? 4) Is there a more optimal setup I could use (without fundamentally changing what I'm doing or, say, playing a marauder please...) Many thanks, A P.s. As an afterthought, could you use Hyporthermia instead of PTL? Last edited by Altissimus#3339 on Mar 20, 2016, 12:22:31 PM

I just tried champion phys bow and is insanely strong, previously i had 90 phys bow raider and it looks weak in comparison with champion. Perma 18 movespeed is very good for mapping ( and does not depend on frenzy charges like raider does)
It has same clearspeed capabilities like ranger but on top of that there is broken fortify with 22 all damage reduction. With that i could easily resign from dodge and saved 5 points by that. Also with daresso, rats nest, maligaro and rare boots + onslaught flask with armor suffix i got 5k armor, 6k evasion + 1.6sec immortall call due to daresso charges. No wonder champion is most picked class atm (excluding ascendant but its only one way for scion, while duelist got 3 ascendancies) Tldr : want godlike phys bow : go champion Last edited by soilwork3r#6178 on Mar 20, 2016, 1:47:25 PM

Awesome build. I cannot play much cause I have a job and I can play only 2-3 hours a day and I play mostly without any trading, except really strong upgrades and it is still really fun. I got Maligaros and Rat's nest from Cadiro, it's like ~3000 coins for both, it's really affordable and you have this amount at the end of merciless, so you need just a bit of luck with Cadiro. I bought Atziri's step and changed to it when I got resists on belt rings and amulet.
Also, I have a bit of luck in crafting. I bought a 83ilvl base for 1 chaos. I used the phys dmg recipe to change the implicit crit chance. It took like 11-12 blue belts and I got a perfect roll. I used like 400-600 alts and 2 regals and got this: What do you think? Is it worth making a multimod and add aspd and ele dmg? Or better +lightning dmg? Or just add aspd and save 2 exalts for better bow or other upgrade? My gear at lvl83 (mostly selffound/selfcrafted):

I wouldn't multi mod that bow. It will be fine enough with attack speed.
Regarding Maligaro's gloves, I haven't done the test yet, but I'm pretty sure Facebreaker outdamage them sensibly now. A rare pair of gloves is also a nice choice ; that's what I've always used on my archer in fact. Ranger builds list: /917964
When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch? If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch. Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart... |

" not wrong. Champion is pretty crazy. fortify all the time. 20% inc effect fortify as well. 24% damage reduc. 45% ev/ar 10% ias 18% imoves 5% non-curse aura effect 35% increased damage. that fortify all the time will probably get nerfed to a proc like all the others, like raiders phasing/onslaught. |
