Kind regards
im running this build since lvl 1 and its really fun tho i had some issues when moving from 1.3 to 2.0 but i think i handled it quiet OK-ish. id like to ask tho if its possible to run Enhance with Herald(s)+Hatred on this build.
online from around 1PM CET
Thank you for the guide! I have been using it consistently for a while now.

I have noticed a lot of changes in the way leech works, mainly that the effect is slower. There is a node down by king of the hill that increases the amount of life leeched as well as increases the rate of leech. Although this doesn't have the increase to base life, would this be considered more viable? Or maybe more viable until higher damage levels? I am just curious why you would forgo the increased leech. It isn't even viewed as a poor option on the tree screenshot you posted.

Thanks again for all the effort you put into this guide.
First of all, thanks for the great guide. I've been using it since 1.3 and its a very fun and powerful build.

I was wondering if using Puncture or Frenzy is necessary with TS. My single target is pretty good with TS although I'm only in the mid 60s atm. I was thinking if I wanted to do Atziri I can just swap out my TS with Frenzy except for the add phase. Is this fine or will the single target attack be more important in higher level content? If not, what would be the best use for the extra links?

Also I do decent damage for now but I'm pretty squishy. I still need to get the cwdt setup but is there anything else I should do? Other than more evasion/life I mean.

What is a good amount of life leech to aim for? I would like to eventually drop the gem but I need it to survive for now.

Also I'm lazy and don't like to bother with enduring cry or curses. How much does that stuff help? Someone tell me how dumb I'm being.

One more question that's a little less related. Say I'm trying to get a 6 link armor. Is it usually more cost effective to buy a white 6 link and try to craft the affixes, or buy a chest with good rolls and try to craft 6 links?

Thanks for the help.

This build seems to have pretty low damage numbers, considering that shotgunning is gone. Or have I misunderstood that?

You did all questions that I wanted to do. I just numbered them to help the pros to answer.

About 1), if we really need single target, I still haven't decided between Frenzy and Puncture.

About 2), since EC cannot be CWDT, is IC the best choice to CWDT? I need to test manually casting EC, to get used to the range and the effort that I'll have to make to keep End. Charges up on hard battles.

I started playing 4 days ago, but only by reading a few pages I'll try to answer.

This build was never built around Shotgun, because the first shot of TS never had that effect. The second shots (the ones after the tornado), they can hit the same target because that's not considered Shotgun.

I was thinking for gems, assuming you don't need a single target setup with TS, I would go:

TS - GMP - PPAD - FA - WED/LL - PtL
CwDT - IC - ID - Enfeeble
CoH - SA - Chain - Assassin's Mark

This leaves us with 10 open slots (assuming no Unset rings):
Hatred
HoA
Blink Arrow
Enduring Cry
Ice Golem
Vaal Haste - Inc. Duration
Blood Rage - Inc. Duration
and one extra (maybe PCoC linked to CoH setup)

I'm gonna do some testing today on how annoying it is to keep up manual endurance charges. The only problem is since I'm such a low level at the moment it is better for me to just blow everything up instead of bothering with EC.

I cant agree on the "low dmg numbers" part. I have 38.4k dps with TS (Drillneck) with 7 frenzy and 3 power charges. And 106k frenzy with maxed out charges (which are all up 80 % of the times)
And those numbers dont even take in account shocking!

Much much stronger build then it was in 1.3.

Really nice work on this build and guide OP. Never played such a strong build! Oneshoting/freezing packs is so much fun. :D

Thank you very much for the guide and also for the filter.

What he said.

The changes to shotgunning had no impact on bow skills, because they already weren't able to shotgun. So technically TS is still the same as it was as in 1.3. It has even got an indirect buff due to the 'less damage' multiplier in GMP being lowered.

Level up, and follow the build guide. TS has insane damage potential, but initial levelling can be tough. Brotip: use Death's Harp bow for leveling! You can use that bow all the way to lvl 60-70 if you like.
