[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

I have 7.7k dps on TS with 4-link. Should I keep saving for a 5-link to put in Weapon Elemental Damage? Will the dps boost be worthwhile?
Hey guys!

I've been looking at this build for a while now and it kinda seems the most complete build ever made and it's really interesting!

I had a lvl 71 ranger with a different build before 2.0 and now it's without allocated points so I thought of switching to this build. The thing is that the other build had a bit different bandit rewards, so would it still be viable to switch to this with the following rewards?

-Normal: Help Oak (+40 base life)
-Cruel: Help Kraityn (+8% attack speed)
-Merciless: Help Oak (+1 max endurance charge)

Thx in advance!
Very helpful, thanks! Is this build recommended for beginner Rangers?

Will edit this post with the leveling progress!

Thanks in advance!

Normal and Cruel rewards are perfectly fine and you can switch the endurance charge later on when you have enough currency.
Only have 2k HP how are you guys getting 4k plus?
So first of all, huge props to NeverSink for the guide, very well made and thorough. Awesome build of course, too.

My main goal in Tempest league is to finally down Atziri. Would love to be able to farm her, at least a little/casually. I've taken a Summon Raging Spirits build up to Atziri herself but wasted all my portals panicking. Didn't enjoy SRS for Atziri, didn't like how I couldn't specifically target what I was damaging and don't really care for builds with as much "wind-up" (desecrate, summon 25 spirits, flesh offering, vaal haste, start fight).

Basically what I'm saying is I don't really have shit for experience with the Atziri fight and don't really have a means to practice it in a softcore setting. I just want to be as prepared as possible.

Right now my Tornado Shot (GMP, FA, PPAD, PTL) is at 10.6k DPS, 44% crit with no charges and no golem. Puncture - SP - PPAD - ICD is at 18.1K DPS. 4511 HP @ lvl 82, picking up 12% life over the next 4 levels. Resists capped (only 3-15% over cap though :s), 7025 evasion (39% chance to evade), Acro/Phase Acro.

How's that sound? Going just off the original post my numbers seem about where they should be. Would WED be better than PTL for 5L? Any other link suggestions? Are there any map bosses etc that compare to any of the Atziri bosses' HP to see what my damage looks like (if that makes sense)? Anything suggestions for good practice, short of trying it in softcore?

Really appreciate any help/suggestions/comments/whatever!

I have similar numbers to you (7.5k dps with auras, 5L) at level 83 and PTL gave me more DPS than WED did (like 15-20% more). I think PTL is the best choice for sure in a 5L.

Also, could you link your amulet/quiver/bow for comparison?

PTL - WED is strong in combination guys. It's even worth replacing faster attacks for the combination.
Please don't PM me ingame with filter/guide questions, post them on the forum, after reading the FAQ.
I'll try that out NeverSink, definitely have some chromatics to burn.

Here's my gear:

Spoiler

Definitely not optimized yet, haha. Still need to stick my CWDT setup in there and an Enduring Cry somewhere. Bow isn't fantastic but it's doing its job.

Edit: lol can confirm, tooltip went from 10.6K to 11.6K, switching Faster Attacks for WED.
