[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

Hey,
i was thinking about to play this build with Frenzy instead of Puncture and taking
some points for frenzy charges, but after following the discussions here for the
last days i am not sure if it is better to keep puncture (great skill for boss fights)
and reserve some passive points for defense/survivability.

What do you think?

It´s the third time for me playing this great build and i´am looking forward to improve
it for 2.0 :)
i pickd Frenzy as the single target, just reached merciless and at level 57. Having massive issues with mana when using Frenzy while Lightning Arrow chain-lmp setup at 4 links seems to leech enough.

I got so tired of being 1 shot in 75+ Maps, i ended up moving some dps nodes out and got rid of Vaal pact picked up 16% more life. I lost a little move speed and 1.5k tooltip on ts, but still have over 40k on ts and now have both life leech node sets and went from 4400 to 4800 hp hopefully this is enough now otherwise i think its time to roll a 7k+ hp melee since that seems to be the hp requirement with armor and defense stuff like fortify to be able to not get 1 shot by map bosses. Everyone I'm talking to seems to be stacking a lot of armor and hp/es to the 7-10k areas and are able to face tank Malachi etc. Maybe time to try going around the bottom and pick up iron reflexes etc? Evasion seems to be dead this update.

Frenzy is valid option, in my opinion i only use puncture at atziri( i have frenzy in a single slot just to keep my charges up), the rest of the time while mapping i have frenzy for single target although i rarely use it because tornado shot deals a lot of damage to single targets too.
They are both very good options for single target (frenzy has higher tooltip dps but puncture has the bleed)
You should pick the one that you find more comfortable.
Did you already figured out a more HC friendly build?
With some help from a couple of friends of mine and pointing this guide out this new player has hit 56 already. I am no expert and I still don't understand a ton, but I do understand what the guide handfeeds me! Thanks a ton for writing this up - works like a charm so far levelling!

In my opinion you're better off keeping vaal pact, and slotting the life leech gem in your 6th link for Tornado Shot if damage is not an issue. That way you'll also leech all elemental damage you're dealing.

That setup gave me a huge survivability boost. I've got around 4.7k life, and never have any problems with survivability. Breezing though maps up to lvl 79...haven't gotten any higher map drops yet. Though some bosses can still be a pain, like Crematorium. Just give it a shot, and see how you like it. TS is still very viable in my opinion, you just have to get a bit more defensive.

I've also taken the arrow dancing node. Though it is a severe nerf, there's no node that can beat 40% more evasion. As for the 20% against melee.....if you get hit by melee a lot, you're not correctly playing a ranged character in my opinion.
learn a lot, thank you.

could you share you thoughts on passive gems? don't have any clue which ones to pick from the quest rewards.

and I am at level 40, having difficult to get enough str and int to equip gears, so I pick up one passive that get 30 str. do we get enough str and int when we hit level 80? let say around 100~110. just to equip things.
Some pathing concerns for the 2.0 image....

Going up to Profane Chemistry from the intersection between Ranger and Duelist should probably take the branch down from Ranger instead of up from the lower highway. That trades 10 Dexterity for 10 Strength, which helps out with attribute requirements.

Also, coming up into Fury Bolts from the bottom isn't it better to go clockwise around the wheel and leave out the 6% Inc. Proj. Damage / 10% Proj. Speed node in exchange for the 10% Proj. Damage node? Or am I underrating the benefits of Projectile Speed?

Well we won't have enough str/int ever :) at lvl 88 i have 2x30 int nodes + some more from equipment.
You can get a phys belt with some str or use atziri phys belt.
I use an amulet and a phy belt to compensate for missing str/int.
