ELE LIGHTNING STRIKE - ALL T16s, Shaper, Uber Atziri, HOGM, Chayula, Elder

Hey Cery, I've been getting my hands on a pretty nasty ele Corsair Sword and decided to roll with a Lightning Strike build for it. I decided to go Deadeye with the following gear

and a Watcher's Eye with increased crit % while affected by Wrath and 2 abyss jewels. I use Inc Crit Strikes for general mapping and Ele Focus for bosses. Solid DPS, killed Chimera with pretty easy mods (shouldn't be a problem at all), haven't got the other guardian maps though, killed T15 elder with weaker gear. I've been wondering if Far Shot is worth using over Rupture and if the chain nodes would do more than pierce, but due to having only 6.8% base crit due to Corsair Sword base I really need at least one crit chance ascendancy node. Clearing feels very good in maps without obstacles and pretty meh in maps with them, but this is the only disadvantage of LS. Also fuck Shrine. |

Could someone with a little more knowledge than me go over my character called Strukarn and tell me what would be best to upgrade upon next. I feel very squishy atm.

" Low life roll on chest, no helmet (think you took it off before logging off), no anti-bleed flask. Other than that, your gear is pretty much like mine, so I guess it must be part of your gameplay. Play mostly like ranged, kite like hell, if hits connect on you they will hurt. | |
" Dagger - You have a free suffix so craft crit multi on it Flask - You should be using a silver flask, dump atziri for one and buy a blood of the karui Level more. By getting to around level 90 you'll get over 500hp more from jewel and HP you get per level. | |

How can you do ele reflect maps? I turned off wrath and herald of thunder, put in purity of lightning and still killed myself xD

Hitting close to 300k dps, My game life has been 100% smoother since i changed my flask setup.
Now im just meleeing corrupted reds with a lot of ease and no pressure , charges are out? port out - only kill between immunities being up due to flask effect on utility flasks. The QOL is just great. Going for Vorici 6L since i blew a lot of currency already. Probably gonna replace grounding with vintikar at some point - will have to see how comfortable i am taking 50% increased damage .... because id lose a spot for 1 immunity flask. " Thanks bud, how you liking Aspect of Cat? Particularly the reduced visibility when you have Cat's Stealth - which I think might work extremely well for a build that kites from range. Are you noticing less aggro when you have reduced visibility even while you are attacking? Hmm if you want to try Vinktar - maybe try using a Basalt with grounding or a Stibnite wiht grounding instead? Hehe you are definitely going to need something to take off the shock. If you are still doing Poorjoy's are you having any trouble with freeze or curses? | |
" Well TBH , aspect of the cat my primary use is for the crit chance buff to proc elemental overload consistently , the reduced visibility goes well with stibnite in mobs, I am not sure if just that alone is enough , its like an added bonus. Did finally manage to link the armour Now i am at 306k dps with vaalhaste and unflasked and 6K life. What you say makes sense about poorjoy's id definitely need a grounding flask . The anti freeze + warding is very noticeable in maps. I haven't really tested in poorjoys after i changed my flasks - i spent a good part of 93 just getting funds to make 6L getting map bonuses. will be hitting poorjoy's soon. M Perhaps anti-freeze is not really needed in poorjoys like you say and i would just be better off with 1 anti bleed - life 2 anti curse -basalt - utility 3 vintikar - dps 4 grounding -sulphur- utility 5 atziri dps Good suggestion, Thank you. " Hi bud, sorry missed your post. Nice sword man xD and nice gear too. Depends on your play style - if you are playing at range then Far Shot is better. Regarding Chain vs. Pierce - since you don't have Voidwalker maybe try chain, personally I suggest you either i) drop the shield for Lycosidae (nice shield tho xD) and get Deadeye Powerful Precision for pierce and higher crit chance + Rupture; OR ii) drop your boots for Voidwalker and then get Fast Deadly and Rupture. |
