Separately on Deadeye I ran a quick check this morning in Path of Building, basically:
- unspec Raider
- spec Deadeye - Gathering Winds, Far Shot, Ricochet, and Rupture
- unspec frenzy charges and uncheck use Frenzy charges
- Tick "Have Tailwind" - and set to max by adjusting no. of times a skill has been used recently
- Tick enemies is bleeding for Rupture
- Checked the DPS and then multiplied by 1.1 x 1.3 to get the buffs for Ricochet and Far Shot
- Came out to about 50k higher DPS than my Raider
Now I didn't get a chance to check this but - with the 4 points from unspeccing Frenzy nodes you can use those points to grab more crit nodes or APS.
I estimate you can get about 100k extra DPS using 4 points (factoring the buffs from Far Shot and Ricochet) - so you'll probably end up wiht 150k extra DPS than Raider.
I'm doing about 1.1m DPS per projectile so 150k extra DPS vs. loss of Raider defenses IMO is not that worthwhile, but I'll have to double-check the numbers when I get back home later today.
Thanks for putting this out, so I tried to run some numbers in PoB, it seems if we go Raider with Frenzies+Onslaught ascendancies nodes will be best for DPS and MS compared to Deadeye with full stacked Tailwind (calculated Ricochet and Far Shot damage as well), unless if we invest into Frenzies in Deadeye but it will be hard to generate those frenzies with Deadeye during bosses. So can you run your numbers again with Raider Frenzies+Onslaught nodes? I know Raider with Veil nodes have good QoL with elemental immunity, but Deadeye will have the same issue anyway and we need to change our flasks.
Hi bud I don't quite follow your question - my default is Raider with frenzy + onslaught path, so the numbers I had before were with Raider frenzy + onslaught path.
Also you don't have to worry about MS with this build - when I need to move fast I have Whirling Blades.
I don't really get the hype with Deadeye tbh. I don't really care about MS; she is just a pure offense class but her offense is not even significantly higher than Raider or Pathfinder - who both get better defense. And don't forget that damage buff of Far Shot 30% more is conditional and assumes you are hitting at the right distance. Also Raider's damage buffs are now pretty much all permanently on. If all you want to do is just clear trash mobs quickly on a range build then yes Deadeye is probably the best, but I would prefer to have some defenses for bosses and Raider just has so much more utility to me.

This is an ele build so it relies on getting ele damage on jewelry (rings, jewels) to get good DPS, and the playstyle I use is to kite from range. To be honest this is not a good beginner build if you are new to PoE or if you are playing EV for first time.
