" Yes! GGG does trailers to hype customers up for the reveal event. God forbid a company tries to motivate customers to check out their new products, blasphemy! They've been doing this for years and are praised by other devs for how good they are at marketing their seasonal content releases. People still complain. Insert the "there is no idiot-proofing" meme here. |

" Teasers that are pure cinematics without even a snippet of gameplay reveal don't get me hyped up either, and in fact do the opposite. We'll see it soon enough anyway. Remember everyone, low expectations are the key to happiness. Keep them low and you'll never be disappointed or let down. My expectations for 0.5 are genuinely very low at this point. |
