" I think that rework of templar in 3.28 was not a coincidence and we r going to get even more holy templar in 0.5. Shadow would be cool too, but im still waiting for swords. |

A boy locked in some cave asking to be saved...
Judging by our current allies of slavers, human sacrifice/experimentation doctors, psycho tribal leaders who turn their own people into demons, and Sin itself, my money's on Elder Madox finally coming down from his mountain to touch a kid, and us having to fight off the people who try to save the kid so we can recruit Elder Madox into our inner circle of evil doers. Ok, ok. Let me give them some credit and assume they're trying to write a halfass decent story. The world just pretty much ended, right after our alliance of slavers, Sin, and awful people put together an ultimate weapon and left it in Sin's hands. Madox, who was waiting for his end, sees all this shit from his mountain and realizes he needs to stop this evil cabal... us. We've been lied to all along and we're the bad guys. The "rogue exiles" were actually the ones trying to stop the world from ending. We were building an ultimate weapon for Sin and his Beast buddy, which they used. Madox is a boss fight and he's a badass, but he's also old and has been literally waiting for death already. We beat him, but he realizes we're deluded and not just evil. He opens our eyes to the truth. He lives but seriously weakened so he can advise us but not join in the fighting. The next few acts will be tracking down Tavakai, Doriyami, The Beast, and eventually Sin who has been lying about his part in things and trying to seed evil through the world all along... because he's the fucking God of Sin. Latest teaser speech style and voice reminds me a lot of Templars in PoE1. Hopium.
Plus there was lots of new templar skills in 3.28 for us to test and try out. Hmmmmm. I sure hope we get templar, and maybe shadow... But you can always hope right You stand before the gates of the Lord's Labyrinth. Within these walls, the Lady of Justice doth preside.
