Valdos and T17s

" I know, but basically what I’m saying is, how did we get from one topic to another? We jumped from Valdo and T17 maps, which was the actual discussion, to random CWS builds, Ultimatum, Simulacrum, and even dragging melee into the topic. " His point is that if you trivialize that kind of content with cheese builds you have no idea what its like on normal builds. If you are lobbying for ggg to buff simulacrum because its too easy, but you're doing it on cws chieftan then you should stay out of the argument. That is basically his point. " There are plenty of players who have voiced their opinions while running regular builds and still believe that the content needs to be buffed or that player power should be adjusted, which shows that players do have a solid understanding of how the content actually feels. Yet the discussion often gets framed as an innocent melee player suffering because evil cheese build players demand harder content, when in reality it is frequently players using regular builds who are asking for tougher content. But if we are being honest, claiming that melee players struggle or suffer to keep up, using the excuse that cheese builds and their users are demanding harder content, despite melee being heavily buffed over the past few leagues, ends up highlighting the player’s own lack of skill with the archetype or perhaps with the game in general. Not everyone asking for harder content relies on these cheese builds. Pick your poison. Hobby Gamer and Professional Software Engineer & Systems Architect from Tennessee

Yes slams are very strong. I don't see where he was attempting the point your accusing him of in this thread.
Cheese builds do skew peoples opinions about how difficult said content is. You can't argue against that. A few leagues ago if you were farming t17s on splitting steel mb ci trickster you didn't deserve to have an opinion on t17 difficulty. Although in sc t17s are really easy. |
