Well hopefully they rework T17s to what they should be in 3.28.
|
|
" They will, Jonathan said it in the recent Interview with ZiggyD. Pff, who even plays Standard?

" A rework for T17 is confirmed, but not specifically for 3.28. Based on what both Mark and Jonathan have said, it’s clear that T17 will remain challenging and that the rework is not going to result in a watered-down version of the maps. T17 was intended to be the penultimate bosses, serving as bridge content between maps and Ubers, and their descriptions of the content make it obvious that they want it to continue pushing players. As Jonathan explained, “It's more the desire that you have like, you know, like interesting combinations of mods happen and oh, this is a new challenge I have to rise to, you know, how I’m going to deal with this and kind of stuff.” This shows that the design is meant to create situations where players need to think strategically and adapt, not simply cruise through a slightly harder T16. Jonathan also talked about the rework itself, saying, “It needs a full redesign to try and see if we can come up with a way to both achieve what we're hoping to achieve but also make players not dislike it.” Even with these improvements, it’s clear from their words that the goal is to preserve the difficulty. Players who struggle with basic T16 maps will still find T17 demanding after the rework. As they have said, everything done so far was merely, quote, “a band-aid fix” and not a long-term solution. Everything they’ve described points to one conclusion. T17 will continue to be the endgame for mapping. The rework is about refining and enhancing the experience, not making it easier. T17 will still demand strategy, skill, and adaptability, along with obviously a good build, standing above T16 Alc&Go maps as the pinnacle of challenging content. Players who anticipate a watered-down version or very easy content will very much be disappointed. Hobby Gamer and Professional Software Engineer & Systems Architect from Tennessee

When they launched t17s they made a lot of mistakes that put a bad taste in my mouth.
For me personally: They turned hc from being fun and I had a lot of goals to me farming and grinding and realizing i hate every build that feels safe to run t17s on. Usually get burned out around the time i have the gear to do them on builds i like. It was a lot more manageable before to build characters to do ubers than t17s, just by the nature of the mods. The scarab to cut half the mods is the only reason im able to do them before i get burnt out. If you're struggling with t17s in sc though? I don't think anyone on this forum can help you. |

" This. There's really no excuse you can make for not being able to clear T17s in softcore when the Scarab of Bisection is in the game. |

Ya that scarab is a godsend. I actually didnt know it existed until this league. Whenever they changed all the scarabs around i didnt both reading any of them. Too many changes at once for me.

i wonder why people who shout 'git gud' always, ALWAYS plays THE CHEEZE aka builds that have no place in the discussion because they simply skip the game
it is as if CWS build user discussed merits of Simus or Ultimatum. it is a build that has NOTHING to say about these two contents because it ignores all their mechanics. ive leveled to 99 doing grueling gauntlets on CWS cheeze, it was the fastest leveling ive personally experienced outside - again - cheeze rotas. it was the fastest because i havent died ONCE since ~94 or something. go do grueling gauntlet on a melee or any other - even decked to the helm - regular character. it wont end pretty there are like 2 other build types that even can attempt GG with any reasonable chance of success, these mods are no joke, esp in T17. unless you actually ignore 90% of them and the reminder you decide to yolo or bail out - if doing block route you can literally blindly click 'next' as nothing can touch you each time i see a player doing acc+int stacker in Keepers i know it is going to be 'git gud, gme ez' meme btw - Valdos are stupid. they are the main source of T0 items (the second best is gambas). both dwarfing natural drops by an order of magnitude. it is a binary content - you go to build valdo farmer and complete all of them or you dont touch it (both because most rewards are completely worthless and these that are lucrative are voided with list of mods longer than an average reading comprehension limit) so yeah, Valdos are pretty bad, ego pumping content. T17 are dog.., massive mistake and example how NOT to stratify the difficulty. 3/10 no damage, drowning orbs, runes - sorry, this is just garbage comparably only to actual layouts of those mapd |

" It’s unclear how the thread jumps from Valdo’s and T17s to gauntlets, but read in full, the post conveys the subtle impression that your mastery of melee builds is still in its formative stages. Hobby Gamer and Professional Software Engineer & Systems Architect from Tennessee
