well you definitely didnt cook with the incinerate one because it wouldnt be able to boil water
seems like you really want the skill to be a huge burst like a strong vaal skill with the fuel thing but so far it looks like some single target fireball ignite gonna reach these numbers stacking or not edit: level 20 incinerate damage can be replicated by casting the level 13 flame breath with 6 rage while using a 3.8 pdps weapon Last edited by Koxomathical#2565 on Dec 11, 2025, 3:15:08 AM

Who are making the balance to the game? Rob Ferguson? I was going to try the incinerate. Now the skill is litterally unusable. I dont understand this aproach you have to balance. Why destroy a skill that it take work for you to design? I mean, you right click and the poison arrow shot, right click and lightning arrow shot. You generate 5 seconds fuel for a skill that now deal 20% of damage and cannot generate more "time of damage" and this supposed to be a main skill. I dont understand, GGG, you hate your game?

for gods sake, do something with rapid shot! and add more heat interactions. and and, mortars not consuming heat with respectable grenades was kind of a betrayal

I'd be happy about some reasoning around the curse area changes.
As of now quasi "one shot" clear builds dominate the meta. Every build that relies on curses is already at a disadvantage due to its at least two button nature + the curse delay. For bossing the change is almost irrelevant as hitting a single target with a curse will still be fine. Overall I share the communities feeling around niche builds being restricted (last lament, incinerate, curses) while strong meta contenders, propagating a mostly one button playstyle are still viable (poison pf). This feels opposing to the direction, advertised by GGG (combo gameplay). Overall I'm afraid this might lead to a situation like in 0.2 with very few builds strongly dominating the meta. That cannot be in the interest of either GGG, nor the playerbase and is likely to impact retention in a negative way. Again - some reasoning for the changes would be highly appreciated. The makers of "Mechabellum", frequently provide such reasoning, similar to how GGG has done in the past. I feel this would - at leat in the case of nerfs - help to foster a better understanding and less frustration in the community. |

Keep going guys! You’ve nearly nerfed every single build your player base enjoyed playing! So excited to play the new skills you buffed that have a 5 second wind up time, pick up 3 orbs off the ground and channel it for 8 more seconds after that to deal 600 damage! Dont want us dealing damage the same day we cast the skill now do we, that might be fun.

There are no buffs or nerfs, only a redirection of the player's attention to the druid and whatever else still needs testing.

" Come on GGG... I was thinking to play gemling and get 19% quality from the ascendancy and play ice shot so i can leverage the quality and get more attack damage... But now after this it's pointless... What's the use of gemling quality point ?!? 1 ascendancy point for 10% quality when there is a lineage gem giving u + 1lvl and + 10% quality. You literally nerfed 99% of gems and their quality. What's the point to play Gemling ?!? That class is good at nothing at this point... |

Doedre undoing also dead on arrival, it was hard enough to stack the intel at 0.3, now without targeted crafting it would be even harder but that nerf was not enough as it is? You had to reduce the curse area as well.
so basically your entire patch can be renamed as "the dawn of the nerfs" because thats all what did u give to us. How about instead of investing so much time in nerfs to actually give us some content instead, maybe remove those 2 useless 2% quantity nodes from atlas tree and make something useful, or maybe rework the useless "increased chance to get" tablet modifiers, there is so much useful things you can do but you opted NOT TO DO IT. Rebalancing things on the ground how something looks when used with top gear is a bad really bad way. Last edited by ReligiousFanatic#8347 on Dec 11, 2025, 5:54:43 AM
