I spent a ton of time farming JUICED T17 maps last league and THIS league.. GGG please do something!

So now that the new league has been out for a couple of weeks ive finally PERSONALLY concluded that Fubgun and every other juicer out there is.. RIGHT!
THERE IS MASSIVE difference in loot that was dropping last league vs this league. The most depressing part is that you never hear dinks anymore.. unless you make Chaos orb DINK and TO KID YOU NOT, In a FULLY JUICED T17 SCARAB Atlas I get 1-3 Chaos on AVERAGE every single map IF I do not have any CURRENCY roll on the map... like.. comoon. I dont quite understand why last leagues Atlas Endgame needed so heavy nerfs that you essentially DELETED the best farming strategies from the game and gave NOTHING in return.. My go to was ABYSS hordes just because I didnt need a Mirror build to do it in T17-s and still got about 1500-3000 chaos orbs worth of items from EVERY SINGLE MAP after I minmaxed the HELL out of it. THIS LEAGUE.. I am HAPPY if I get.. 90Chaos orbs of items FROM 1xT17 FULLY GIGA JUICED SCARAB map IF I take out lucky drops like an Awakening Scarab or Containment Scarab. If they dont drop.. the entire loot you pick up is worth about 100C on Average. And it has some INSANE tanky rares there. For real, atm, it is worth doing ANYTHING ELSE other than mapping. Run Heist, Simulacrums, Sanctum.. run anything but do not run any maps because there is NOTHING to be found there. I run alch&go t16s with ambush, or 8-mod corrupted t16s and made 20-40 divines in a day to buy my build's gear easily. T17s aren't as good anymore, just playing the game is good enough though. And picking up anything worth selling to faustus(chromatic orbs,alts,fusings,all scarabs and 3-to-1 vendor recipe them until you get an expensive scarab to sell). I get like 100-300c per scarab selling session alone, and turning all my other currency to chaos then to divines is even more profit. Just click a lot of scarab drop nodes on the atlas tree, its super worth it. And don't hide a single scarab on your filter, pick them all up.
I dunno, this league seems like its better than ever for the casual alch&go vibe mapper like me. Oh and I use NeverSink Semi-Strict, and pick up all uniques that disenchant for 10k+ dust to send divine and mirror shard shipments. Made probably 20+ divs just from blue zanth shipments to kalguur early in the league, its so nice. You can make currency if you just play the game, instead of trying to abuse broken strats/scarabs/interactions. What they did this patch is fix some of those, they said it themselves that the blight scarab was literally bugged and spawning more monsters than it should have. And abyss one was deleted because clicking chests in a t17 and dropping insane loot was just silly. In the reveal livestream Q&A for keepers, the lead game directors themselves said they don't like where T17s are. That they were too rewarding, that's why the quant/rarity/packsize from t17 mods got nerfed, and atlas modifier effect got cut by a lot too. I expect t17s to get a full rework to what they should be next patch: a gateway to uber bosses, a method of getting their invitations. Nothing more nothing less. |

" I meant the raw drops from monsters in there, yeah boss fragments can be nice if you have high quant and drop more than 2 of them. Boss-rushing corrupted ones with stability scarab is probably still really good, then just selling the fragments off to faustus. But actually trying to do some kind of juiced league mechanic in the map itself, you might aswell do it in an eagon map or normal t16 since its pretty much the same quant and packsize now. |

" T17 maps remain more rewarding than T16s in this patch, as they should be once your character can handle them. Even juiced T16s will outperform low-investment alc&go runs, of course. That said, it’s a bit bold to call T17 loot “bad” when you haven’t actually done any properly juiced T17 content yourself, beyond a few carry runs, which aren’t really a meaningful sample to judge loot by. I use T17's & 16.5's only for my 8-mod Map farming and sell the rest of them, T16 is where it's at, not worth the hassle doing T17 juicing where you die almost every map, i chill in my T16, make more money and don't die!

" This is actually something that bothers me, as someone who usually doesn't do much of anything in terms of end-game juicing. I just now ran a Fortress 150-ish quant, 100-ish rarity, close to 7k wildwood juice, possessed boss. I know the giga-juicers out there would argue that that's nowhere near "really, actually juiced" but I'd say it wasn't too shabby overall. And... 2 fragments dropped (one old one new). How?! How can a map produce 2 of something (which is the baseline value) after a 150% extra from explicit map mods, never mind added scarab juice? Anything I have one of that I multiply by 2.5 turns into 2 at the very least, if rounded unfavourably. If you wanted to talk how T17s have been potentially problematic, due to how multiplicatively those boost(ed) already decent farming strats, I'd be right there with you, arguing for a slight overall nerf to T17s. But 2 uber-fragments where basic maths dictate should've been at least 4... What's the big idea there? You'll never see me cry about loot-droughts like the rest of the bunch, only to then, in my confirmation bias, shout into the void of the web that loot is bad and the league is somehow at fault for all that. But in a world where 2 x 2.5 = (still)2 I'm gonna be the one feeling shorted, unless there's an actual, intelligible explanation for what looks like a fail-at-maths. " I completely agree, if Quantity did what the game says it does, then 150% increased would have to give you at least 3-4 fragments from a boss. This game is just very,very bad at actually telling you what the real interactions of any mechanics are, its even bad at showing your real dps on your tooltip, and it lies about how Armor really works. Having to use 3rd party tools like PoB to see your real dps is a clarity problem with the game's UI design. I want T17s to drop good fragments from the bosses, the whole reason they were created was so they could give you access to uber bosses and be a "bridge" to them. Either they should make the quant make sense, or just give us back the old Atlas Keystones for activating an uber boss, because those were better than whatever T17s are atm imo lol There may be some kind of T17 revamp/rework in 3.28, since even the lead devs admitted that those maps aren't in a good place during the Keepers reveal livestream Q&A so all we can do is hope that its a good rework. |

Ive done multiple calculations and a typical T17 juiced Strongbox with or without containment will net you around 100 chaos worth of 2C+ worth of items IF you take out random lucky drops like 1xDIV every 2 or 3 maps or 1xContainment Scarab dropping every 2 or 3 maps.
Same goes for the Scarab Atlas farm, on average you net about 100chaos worth of items BUT.. you also have to take out INVESTMENT. So if you run Containment.. you most likely are doing mapping for almost no reward at all. If yhou do cheaper strats without lucky drops here and there you get like 60c profit per map lol.. its SOO BAD and boring.. nothing cool or exciting drops. You have to pick up trash scarabs like taking a bag full of coins you collected to the local bank and begging for them to count them so you get 10 dollars. Mathils actual cat
