New Foulborn Uniques in Patch 3.27.0c

The idea is for foulborn to be stronger or different. NOT WEAKER.

What the fuck is that headhunter teaser, scrap that garbage. does it get that minor qol improvement at the cost of the benefit of killing rares? that is just an insult to your players if they got such a drop.

soul eater headhunter is actually interesting, even if its not as powerful, that is exactly what foulborn should be.


more interesting stuff like that soul eater or the +2 mana per level ring, or the explode bereks respite, or the alternate inspired learning, or the spell block on the fake squire that made the unique viable.
please dont waste all out time with obviously uninteresting nonsense or fucking QOL stuff that obviously should exist as an option in the menu and not linked to an item mod that nerfs the actual stats.

The foulborn utula's hunger is pretty meh, like you can easily just get a high es rare body armor and that doesnt require all your other armor to have no defense mods, if it was just no energy shield mods that could be cool, you could scale like ward or armor/evasion on your other gear and get a bunch of flat es on the body armor.

current headhunter foulborn trades its iconic mod for an alternate and still very powerful stat. it is still an item worth 20+ div because soul eater is an interesting and powerful mechanic that can work on different builds than the original.



this proposed headhunter trades 50 strength for literally zero stats. Its a strictly worse item than the original and does not have any new application on any other builds. The QoL visibility of rares, uniques, and MOBS is something I have wanted since metamorph league. Why would I celebrate being denied that visual clarity and amazing accessibility QoL feature being locked behind an item that not every build can use?
Some of these are cool.

FB Doon Cuebiyari looks the most interesting to me and can benefit or enable builds.

While I understand the concept of the new FB Headhunter as it applies to ARPGs, I don't think it applies that much to PoE1.

The maps are simply not that big and expansive in PoE1 and the large clear/skill coverage of an average mapping build in PoE1 makes the rare monster radar kind of useless.

Cool concept for an item, but just not that useful for this game.
