Breach Encounters and Monsters in Maps

Sirgog I very much enjoyed your analysis before but on this one you are way off. There is a noticable difference in currency dropping and the experience playing the game is much worse as a result. It has nothing to do with the market, it's all about dopamine. We will see next weekend when I predict a sharp dropoff in active players.

Turns out that the league mechanic can be mechanically brilliant. But if you take away peoples loot, even a brilliant mechanic will feel bad. Sour the mood.

People don't feel great about grinding (time wasted on 'just a game') for less (dopamine) than the previous time.

Thanks for confirming the bad loot and lack of any aspirational farm content all across the game with levels lower than game have ever seen before is not a bug just intentional state. I've never quit any league after 3 days except PoE 2 and here we are I already quit PoE 1 after 3 days of gameplay. I'm at least glad I learned after PoE 2 launch and lack of dev interest in PoE 1 to NEVER EVER give you anymore money until you produce something good and fun and thats why I didn't buy anything from you this league and it seems that the trajectory is that I will never buy anything anymore and not play this game anymore. GG GGG.

My rule is something good twice in a row; once can simply be a mistake. Though I'm never giving them money again for other reasons.
Where's loot ?
We've already got people showing pretty stark differences in the number of total monsters in a map on standard vs in league where Breach is displacing them.

Normal monsters are the only real loot dropping juiceible monsters since ALL league mechanic monsters had all their quant and rarity removed.

Scarabs that add packs are almost certainly going to react the same way to breach and just lose a bunch of monsters and scarabs that multiply packs or add more monsters to existing packs also have less packs/monsters in total to work with bringing down their value as well.

In the end you are killing FAR fewer loot dropping monsters over time.
Why nerf to monster pack in Defiled Cathedral map near boss arena?
Loot from regular mobs feels 100% off. Something is not right.
well endgame feels empty after the nerfs.

Mercs was a huge part too.

Breach / tree okish but only that?

Something is missing.
Fix the long loading times please. Game is unplayable at the current state
