HARBINGER SHARD COLLECTION [SUGGESTION]

Hello,

I love doing Harbinger mechanic, but its pure pain collecting all chaos shard and other smaller shards, can we PLEASE make it so once you click on certain shard, it auto collects all of the same type shards around you too?

I can see in keepers of flame you already doing quality of life features like opening one box opens all around in Expedition.

Please please make this happen, there's literally no reason not to do this! It's really less fun spending 1/4 of your map time just for clicking on every single shard when you juice it properly

I second this. I know it's not a new request, but this is going to give me carpal tunnel. I love Harbinger, but I'm going to have to stop running it if we don't get this QoL feature.

turn off all shards besides ancient/mirror/anull/fracturing shards.

Also by the way. I cant remember harby specifically but before when we had nem 3 farming and the old atlas all currency dropped in singles. We have already had this Qol feature added to the game once.

You telling other people what they should or should not pick up, or that it's better than it used to be, are not useful additions to this request. Why would you want to argue against a QoL feature that would benefit even those who, like you, only pick up a few types of shards? You're shooting yourself in the foot.
Why do we even have to pick it up in the first place, why dont it jsut vaccum into our inventory like last epoch.

This is what people will be wanting if they added that feature.

Its a neverending cycle of, we can make this better by doing this until you qol all of the clicks out of the game and it plays itself.

It is your choice to pick all that crap up. if its not worth your time to click it hide it on your filter. That is why there is a filter to begin with.

Why dont you pick up every item that drops? you can sell it to the vendor and get crafting currency.

Yeeah that would be such a nice QOL. Last Epoch already has this, just 1 click is enough to loot all shards around you. They should just make this a thing for all low-tier currency(so anything below t1 which are divs and exalts, so you'd still be clicking those big drops).

We already have nice loot vaccuuming in the game, this kind of "pick up all in radius" qol is a pretty standard thing in most newer games/arpgs. Nobody wants to click 1000 times to pick up chaos shards. And no, "just change your filter to hide x,y,z" is no solution, that just makes me get less loot.

Harbinger is a fun mechanic and gives decent exp, I'd love to farm it if they implemented this simple QOL and maybe also give it a small rework and add in Divine Shards so there's more to farming it than hoping for a fracture jackpot. Literally farming harbinger during Phrecia was the best ever, all the Idols buffing it are how this mechanic should be with atlas tree investment. Every map with 20+ harbinger bosses was soooo fun, I was printing fracture orbs and even got to lvl100 easily.

Harbinger is in desperate need of some QOL and rewards rework.
While were at it, why cant i just login once a day and click a button and my character just show me all the loot he found while i was at work like the old d2 bots.

That's no excuse to prevent the game from getting better with simple QOL that's standard in modern games. This "slippery slope" argument has gotten so old. Literally adding a mass-loot would be a net-positive for the game, it would just make it more fun. And if you don't like it so much, they could make it a toggle in the settings so you can leave it off and still click as much as you want. It would be a win-win for everyone then.

Reality check, there’s no need for something like full auto-loot. Even in the best case, you wouldn’t even highlight things like low-value Bubblegum currency shards, or single drops of low-value Bubblegum currency, alongside the bazillion other items that aren’t worth picking up, even at day one league start.

We shouldn’t confuse real QoL with asking for unnecessary features that would actually make the game worse, or call everything QoL when it isn’t. Sometimes it’s just pure greed or the fear of missing out on things that aren’t necessary if you don’t waste your time on them. Learn to use a proper loot filter, and you’ll quickly realize there’s far less clicking in the game than you might expect, and that grabbing everything only slows you down, not just in speed, but also in gain and progression.

It would be a far better QoL improvement to overhaul old league mechanics that have become outdated and out of touch. Shards of lower-value currency were already of little value when they were first introduced, and over the years, with more loot overall and Bubblegum currency dropping in large stacks, they’ve become essentially useless. The same goes for all low-tier essences, they serve no real purpose and are just filler items.

Getting all the unused junk removed and clearing out the overkill clutter of worthless items would be an even bigger QoL improvement. Imagine the game in a state where you wouldn’t need a loot filter at all, outside of maybe coloring or highlighting things, rather than having to hide 95% of what’s just borderline unwanted junk.

Nah, I make hundreds of chaos by selling all my chromes, fusings and alts. I pick up all chromatic recipe items, all div cards. All currencies. I always use NeverSink Semi-Strict. I make currency just fine doing it my way.

"Just use a strict loot filter" isn't a solution, cuz if I do that them I'm skipping out on the loot I wanna pick up. People want to pick up all the shards faster, this is why we're asking for this simple QOL that's already in games like Last Epoch. Currency and scarabs and so on should never be hidden on a filter anyway, you wanna pick it all up.

I'm never gonna do divine per hour bs or hide 90% of the items in this game on my filter, that's just not fun for me. I just vibe and play for fun per hour, and I wanna pick up all the good loot in this game about loot. Its that simple.

So yes, there is absolutely a need for auto-loot. But don't worry, it will come sooner or later. Every patch they keep adding more and more QOL features consistently for a few leagues now. Its only a matter of time until we get exactly that, or something close enough to it. Because this game is a business, and they need to keep players coming back and playing. People's expectations of a modern ARPG have shifted massively since 20 years ago, some things are just obviously expected like looting QOL.
