Voltaxic burst is sooo close to being viable
The only way it becomes viable is with full conversion, and voltaxic rift isn't it. The only other options are lightning to cold damage for Occultist with her aura, but you're still split between two damage types and essentially achieve laughable effective damage. The last option is Original sin, which solves everything, but is WILDLY unattainable for 97% of the player base. These should not be the only options for VB. This patch, Lycia will give 50% lightning conversion to chaos, but with 40% from gem, that leaves 10% left as lightning. 90% damage effectiveness is STILL not viable. Please up voltaxic burst's gem conversion to 50%, and let Voltaxic burst become D-tier viable. While you're at it, change the explosion damage to lightning damage converted to 50% chaos damage as well. without it, explosions barely tickle packs. PLEASE, ggg.. Also- Why are there no transifgured versions of the gem yet?? And can we change VB's explosion to particles and arcs instead? The explosions are certainly doing damage to player's retinas. Thanks. Please hear my plea. I love VB as a concept, but it's never been in a viable state without trigger casting 200+ stacks to brute force the damage. I just want to ethically self cast crit with VB. |

Well, let's imagine I'm about to start this league with Champ Smite. Good build, huge damage, huge defences, what ascendancy could I pick for 2 points to make my builds stronger than a default Champ tree.
1. Olroth? Nah, this is Ward only. 2. Aul? Increase global def sounds huge, but with 1 point only I could pick Precusor's release that will grant me nothing. Maybe Charge duration + something from left side? Well, determination works with no endurance charges that I would like to have all the time and I haven't anger, so not that, exact the same for Grace+Hatred; Wrath+Discipline? No, that's too low for 2 points. 3. Catarina? I'm not a summoner, skip. 4. Delirious? Misty Reflection is a 100% useless trash nobody will use, Shizophrenic have too much drawback with non-cluster jewel socketed have no effect, so no legion jewel, no abyss jewel, no any other jewels. Manic Episodes? Sound strong with 60 more, but I'm not sure is it will work as I expected, what random debuff means, is it take random from massive 4% increased OR 2% reduced AS or it 4% increased + 2% reduce AC. How this will work. 5. Lycia? I haven't heralds, I'm have no chaos damage. So skip. 6. Farul? Again, I'm not a summoner. Probably, something from Livestream and official page? 7. Ultimatum? Feels like trash, probably, for the end of the league when you have BIS corrupted items? Let's say no, because only for 8 corrupted items you got something worth. BUT we have Maven flask which make this point a useless trash. 8. Harvest? I have Adrenaline from my Champion tree, so not worth it. 9. Ritual? +Ring slot kind of sick, but I need my amulet, I need my belt and I need my flasks, so it's to big drawback. So, from 9 Ascendancies I could pick only 2 and one from them only for the literally endgame when I have all my BIS items corrupted, so let's count I have only 1. Only 1 from 9 and it's not for free points. I should invest 2 points to get this 50/50 strange passive. Ngl this Ascendancies feels like being made not for POE1 but for POE2. I don't want to see such a drawback for "power creep" in Mark words for this 99% of trash. I don't want to see it in POE1, I'm not playing POE2 because the whole POE2 tree have stupid drawbacks no one want to see, leave this in POE2 |

" Yeah, an accuracy aura, for buffings others minions, who still don't have accuracy anymore. I mean, you'r not thinking of buffing yourself using minions, are you ? The investment for having minions alive is far more expensive than the buff they can give you, so it's 100% useless. |

" Kidding? Lycia ones seems the only good ones currently without that crazy downsides. Maybe Farruls ones also average - but im not interested in entire minion league. Schizophrenic disassotion - you can't use Forbiddens,Watcher's Eye, Sublime , Light of Meaning, Impossible Escape and other jewels including regular ones in your passive tree. That's too way "niche',even if someone will find a use for that. |
