quite disappointed with ggg, error 403 continuously, if you are not capable of operating then don't market to introduce new players, really disappointed

I think it's really time to move away from standalone and play on steam.

friend on steam started patching 20:02 CEST in steam, 35GB
me, standalone, didnt had a patch till 20:15, 46GB and constant crashes.

I rebooted my PC and the 403 error went away

As someone noted if you are getting the 403 error keep restarting the update. All the data you downloaded before the 403 error will NOT have to be updated again. So if you got 10% before the error when you restart you'll only have 90% more to DL. Keep an eye on how many GB the download is. Each time you restart it should be lower.
