Gold Flask+Increased Rarity Support 21/20. That's my definition of stacking rarity, it gives me a lot. Good enough for me.

It seems you may not fully understand how rarity functions. In case you believe that it boosts your overall currency drops, it’s important to clarify that rarity is not equivalent to the old quantity stat, especially if you’re relying on it for increased currency drops. Unless you stack it heavily, the benefit is minimal. That’s why players often run a fully optimized rarity character in party play to more efficiently hunt down Tier 0 uniques.

As for the flask, its only meaningful use is to slightly boost gold drops, and even then, only if you’re already generating substantial gold. Judging by your comments, it’s clear you’re not actively engaging with Kingsmarch content, so gold farming isn’t really a concern here.

In practice, you’re just adding unnecessary obstacles on a path already made more difficult by the weaknesses of your build. The support gem slot you’re using for rarity could be replaced with one that increases your damage, helping you take down more formidable and resilient foes faster and reducing the risk of getting farmed by pixel.

Similarly, your flask slot could be used to fill defensive gaps, something your build clearly needs. You’re also missing out by not using a mercenary, who can provide valuable auras to bolster your defenses. While a single aura like Determination or Grace won’t magically fix a fragile build, it’s a solid foundation for improvement, if you’re willing to invest a bit more in your setup.

The game presents a rich array of tools and strategies designed to streamline your progress, you just need to start utilizing them to make your journey noticeably smoother and more efficient.

This isn't the build help section of the forums, my build is fine and has like 200 mil boss dps lmao I can delete even uber bosses in 1 phase(I've done uber maven with only 1 memory game and uber exarch with 0 ball phases), it deletes normal t16s which is why I can afford to drop my inc critical strikes support gem for a rarity one, something most builds would suffer a huge dps loss if they did. I can still do my t16 mesa maps just fine on a 5-link, because I still have Pain Attunement and a legion jewel with even more "more% spell damage" on it. And on top of that, I don't really need Dying Sun in mapping, so I could replace that unique flask for a crit flask to gain some dps on Freezing Pulse/Ice Spear of Splitting. I also blind any enemies around my totems any time I summon them, I have arcane cloak with 3k life. That's good enough to survive 1-2 hits in normal content.

I know perfectly well what I'm doing with my build, and I simply oneshot the screen before any mobs can get to me, and if they aren't oneshot they're frozen. I was doing fully juiced crucible boss encounters on this build.

Also I don't care what rarity does, I just stack it cuz it makes archnem mobs drop better loot, I know that for a fact because before when the pantheon archnem mods used to be big juicy conversion ones, I would pop a gold flask on an einhar beast that had one of those and its loot would be considerably better. So the rarity gives me more gold per map and better rewards, which is exactly what I want lol

if I wasn't too lazy I could disenchant uniques in Kingsmarch and farm crops, and send a 50 mil(or 30 mil or whatever the optimal strat is) shipment every week for a chance at a mirror shard. I've done it in previous leagues and gotten a few shards. But I could also just live in Sanctum all day and print divines like that.

The build I play is perfect as it is, its a glass cannon. 0 Evasion,0 Armor,0 Suppression,0 Dodge. The moment I try to tweak it to have any tankyness I would lose the insane dps that actually makes it good at bossing. I don't need defenses if I oneshot everything in a few seconds kekw

Nobody is getting "farmed by pixels" here, which is a pretty toxic elitist phrase btw. Its not nice to make fun of other people for no reason. I die like 20-30 times max per league, which is pretty low for SC Trade. Especially on a build with literally 0 defensive layers and 2600 life on average. At most I can reach 3000 life.

I get a bit more gold out of magic mobs from that rarity, and archnemesis conversion mods(which are just hidden now, we got no idea which enemy could randomly have them) would drop improved loot if I have more rarity.

And those are exactly the things I want out of rarity, I'm getting exactly what I need out of that 1 flask and support gem lol

All I'm doing is the bare minimum to improve my rewards while not touching the build I'm playing too much, I get a nice boost of rarity without having to swap any of my gear. Which is a pretty nice deal imo
if a build isnt adjustable to play hc its not a fine build. Its only playable in sc because sc doesn't require a real build to play the game.

And that's completely fine, its why I play SC. No restrictions, no arbitrary pointless death penalties(except for exp which you can ignore by buying legion 5-way rotas). Its just a nice, fun sandbox mode where you can do whatever as long as you got high enough dps. And you can just buy any item you want from other players, once you have a 6-link you just have it forever. That permanence of item upgrades is extremely satisfying to me.

I have no clue why anyone willingly chooses to play hc or ssf, but its none of my business, we all enjoy the game however we choose to.

Stopped reading there. Why you're lying to give your "facts" more weight is beyond me but hey, each to their own.

On that note: The upcoming league looks sick!

It's a bit unfortunate that we won't have Mercs for the new mechanic (yet) but fingers crossed, 3.28 next year will fix that. :)

I have literally videos from multiple leagues recorded where I kill uber bosses, maven invitations, whatever other endgame bosses on this build already. I don't have to prove anything to anyone, the vids show the hp bar getting deleted lmfao

Calculating dps for totem builds that also have +proj is complicated(especially Ice Spear), and my real dps is with Ice Spear in its Second Form not with Freezing Pulse kekw, obviously I also check a bunch of the checkmarks for buffs,self-curse because I stack all those buffs before each boss. Literally I can kill t16 bosses and guardians on garbage gear at leaguestart lol

Also mercs will be deleted, they'll just try to balance them and find it impossible. Or they will be put in the game extremely nerfed, and I'll just be able to fully ignore the mechanic as always and keep melting all content with my 200 mil dps. If mercs are mandatory then 99% of players will complain and hate it, and that's -profits for GGG which is no good.

I'm an expert at this build, and I know what I'm talking about because I know I'm right. Been playing Freezing Pulse totems since Harvest League. You can't just explain away the fact that I can do all endgame progression in a few days with "oh you're lying about your dps". Because if I really had 2 mil dps then I wouldn't be able to kill shaper guardians in 2 seconds, yet I do it every league looool

Do you know how I did all the new endgame bosses from memory strands in 3.26 btw? I insta-phased them and saw like 1 mechanic. Same thing with Pirate bosses in Settlers, and the Black Knight. Insta-phased. I was carrying Black Knight "don't get hit by X attacks" challenges for full groups of 6 people during Settlers. All the people whom I gave free challenge carries can attest to that, not to mention all the free Catarina kills I gave away because I also insta-phase her.

Not to derail the discussion at hand, but is there a build guide for freezing pulse totems?

Also, how much did it cost you to get the build up high enough to melt uber bosses?
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!
