Please put Hideout Trade Vendor on your priority list.
The state of trade has been a long standing issue in Path of Exile but can be addressed with this simple implementation. Trade friction can still exist but this solution solves many afk/toxic interaction/scam issues:
In practice:
1. Players put items into Hideout Trade Vendor window and price them (just like the current way with public stash tabs)
2. Buyer finds item from Trade site and messages Seller (or implement Visit Hideout button).
Seller Invites to Hideout (no need for sellers to leave map, leave boss fight or change the party)
3. Buyer opens Hideout Trade Vendor and buys whatever they want at their convenience
4. Currency appears in a "Sold" tab from the Hideout Trade Vendor to collect later.
Optional automated message to notify seller when a trade occurs.
Buyers might even find and buy other stuff from your vendor too, which is an extra fun experience for everyone involved.
This could even encourage people to make more interesting hideouts which is good for MTX sales too.
In case you've missed manifesto, trade is not being "fixed" intentionally. Thus, chances of this "big support" of 5k reddit upvotes making them suddenly change their key design pillar are lower than chances of dropping a mirror.
Btw, fun fact, chinese version of PoE have built-in trade as is.
Built in trade is a huge stretch. Its mostly maps and jewels, the rest is very situational. You can't buy a mageblood like that for example

Augest 29? So we still have 2 months away?
Seriously April to Augest is 5 months and its even the last day before September. So nearly a 6 month period even when they say 4 months in the post.
Man, this sucks. Really hope 0.3.0 has a lot of content for the nearly half a year wait.
While I would like the update earlier as well, to say it is nearly 6 months is just incorrect. Even if you include April and August, which you might as well given release dates of 0.2 and 0.3 respectively, it is 5 months.

April 4 - August 29th. Its is basically 5 months. So they are already off schedule and not being honest about it.
Like I stated in other posts, there is no way they can maintain this with the current team or they have been sandbagging and telling lies about it taking 4 months.
There is no other option.

Thanks, GGG! I'm having a lot of fun with PoE 1, but I miss too much the PoE 2. I hope we will have new areas to play in the campaign ♥ Keep the great work.

At this rate, version 1.0 will be released in December 2027.
