Path of Exile 2: Content Update Timeline

Now that Path of Exile 1 has had its league, it’s time to talk about our plans for when the next Path of Exile 2 Content Update

Now that developers just thrown 3.26 patch for poe1 players with worst quality, with no major bugfixes and patches, it's time to move on to other plans and left poe1 players with no kept promises


So, let's summarize:

1. We haven't fixes and patches for 3.26 in POE1 for more than months even if they were promised (like fixing petals).

2. 0.3 in POE2 is late August (so, it means that 3.27 will be in late October)

3. 0.4 for POE2 will be released in December and players again will see how developers will go on vacations and holidays with no fixes and patches for their broken game as it was in 0.1

4. POE2 release was planned for 2025 but it will not happen this year


Well, I don't know what else I could say.

P.S. Are you won against 'DDoS' or we could expect another league with rollback and disconnections?

I dont really care about leagues.

I am worried about endgame and hope GGG can get the long term motivation just right.

4/4 to 8/30, it is almost 5 month, not 4.

I'm so disappoint about GGG. Could I refund my money for EA?

This better not be a single class again with barely any content added besides that. Im not asking about acts 4-6, dont care about those till release, but FFS, a single class per patch is ridiculous, not to mention 0 predictability on whos coming out next; it seems utterly random.

Could at least release the most basic classes like Marauder and Duelist. Get the main melee chonkers done with so we arent stuck with just warrior whos bland af to play as (not to mention stuck with only maces)

Please add 36/40 cosmetic challenges to poe2 as well, its really fun grinding for rewards in poe1 i want it in poe2 as well

Major updates for Path of Exile 2 are released every 4 months.

Every 5 months (fixed).

I still think the 4 months cycle for each game is a huge undertaking and it should be more. Basically we are getting poe1 then 2 months later poe2 then 2 months later poe1. This is insanely much and people are going to burn out quickly. People like to play other games reset their brain from poe and just to cool off and there should be more time between leagues to do so.

I still think it should be poe 1 then 3 months later poe2 then 3 months later poe1 etc etc.

This would also allow devs to catch their breath. More time to polish the game.

Well, looks like if you add 3 more years it will be ok.
