Validating with every launch (Steam)

Any ETA for a fix yet?

For me the situation got even worse the last few days.
It startet with occasional file checks about 2 weeeks ago.
Since last weekend I have to wait for 10 to 15 min with every single launch of PoE.

Additional info:
The game reports a mismatch of server and client versions only for some servers.
After switching back and forth between several servers, I may login and the game runs until I close the client.
When I restart the game client, Steam begins to verify the installation ... and it's Groundhog Day again ;o)

Well since yesterday's patch I have the same issue. Very frustrating.

Happening to me since Sept 4th

Confirming that this started happening to me with every launch on Sept 4th as well.

Same issue is happening to me with the POE2 client, happened after the hot fix due to the spectre issue. Every time i login it says there is a newer verison, close game, steam validates, launches, login, can play. If I logout and close the game for any reason, next time I launch it, same thing happens.

During a boss fight last night, my latency skyrocketed and inevitably sent me back to the login screen. The second I tried to log back in, it gave me a log in error and said there was a new patch (there wasn't; i was fully updated).

Upon my game closing and me trying to reopen it, I got hit with file validation on Steam. The file validation happened 2-3 times last night, and then once again today.

On top of all of this, I ONLY receive the login error if I try to connect to the Canada server (as I'm Canadian, I choose it for lower latency). Since last night I am no longer able to connect to the Canada server at all, and on top of that, I still experience the validation issues for Path of Exile 2.
