How Secrets of the Atlas Launch Went

Having to swap to US servers to do any expensive content is ridiculous. These EU server issues needs to be fixed ASAP.

This league could've and should've peaked on Steam above Settler's 212k, a massive comeback after almost a year.

It didn't, and I expect it's because - saturday especially - was plagued by disconnection issues.

I'm sorry but the DDoS excuse doesn't sit right with me - the same issues plagued PoE 2's 0.2 launch - and the same excuse was used by Jonathan in i think the interview with Ziz? How long ago was that? And it is still not solved?

Also since when does a DDoS lead to an instance crash - closing all your portals and a rollback ?

Around that time in another interview (or maybe the same) it was said that as of recent you guys had a massive spike in instance crashes - is it the same in PoE 1 and you just can't admit to it and are blaming DDoS attacks instead?

:) You're saying like is that so hard to monitor feedback regarding mercs and fix it in less than a day. While you have so much feedback from the players you don't do anything in a week.

Your team could avoid all the problems by testing the game itself by yourselves. GGG like living in a world where is QA not existing at all, are you guys haven't QA's and playtest session where all team checking is everything good with a game or not. Oneshoting mercs is a thing you could find in less than in 4 red maps

I guess all development processes are just fucked up and you rather need to fire the person who is responsible for that and hire someone who could fix it. I'm sorry, but It's feels like that because some reasons:

*Releasing in the end of the week right before weekends, I understand that it's kinda 'tribute to traditions' but it's wrong :)
*No smoke tests for consoles launch
*Quality Assurance not existing since so much critical and major bugs not fixed before league release
*No patches for almost a week for high priority content
*Using DDOS as an excuse and not saying the truth regarding terrible server infrastructure
*Communication with community is terrible

As from my experience, I'll suggest to create a release branch not in one day before release as you do, but one week before. Because your QA couldn't test it properly and your developers couldn't fix bugs in time and finally your players getting terrible user experience.

"Unfortunately, we haven't fix issues in time and fix will be provided in the end of the next week. We are so sorry" as always

Every single time the same message . we had DDos attack . since the day one you guys released the game . and after all these years same Bullshit message .
When we can expect fixed MACos client..?
