" Starting with the elephant in the room, unfortunately primarily our European servers but also servers across the globe have been facing a barrage of DDOS attacks. We understand that this issue has ruined such an anticipated launch for many players. This is unacceptable service and we are deeply sorry. We want to assure you that we are taking this very seriously and it is the highest priority problem for our company to solve. Due to the nature of these attacks, we’re unable to provide a timeframe on when it will be resolved but we do want to acknowledge that we do see the issue and are doing everything we can to mitigate this. This has not only been an issue for this league. This has been a issue for well over 2 years now. Is the tactic of dealing with this just: "lets see if the DDOS attackers get bored?" GGG really needs to hire more people - not on the development team, but have a completely separate cybersecurity and litigation team. Server issues are getting overhand. It happens every league and yet they don't even seem to learn from their mistakes. What GGG needs to realize is that their studio isn't still making games just for their optimum 20,000 players. They are making it for more than half a million players. And that number comes with a responsibility and a lot of attention, both good and bad.
